turn off ia assist

@MalWoodUSA  Hard to believe a company has the audacity to expect its customers to do its beta testing for free.

No way to turn off this abomination?  Are you trying to run off loyal customers?  Or just make us angry? Please ask your team to remove this immediately.   

100% agree. This AI system is terrible and makes changes without our consent. Every time I call QB they say "oh leave us feedback and it'll be changed". Obviously that's a big fat lie from QB. How stupid are the devs to force AI onto people and it's not even a finalized version. I swear intuit is becoming more of a joke every time they release new "features".

Customers should have a choice and easy way to OPT OUT of AI Assist.

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE give us an option to opt out of this new AI rubbish. I want my old Bank Transactions page back. The hyper-link to Opt Out doesn't work!!!!

I am so used to the old way of working.  Why does QBO feel the need to change things.  Just leave it all alone!!!

This is extremely annoying that QuickBooks modify my business setup to make me part of the AI Intuit Assist .
I need this turn OFF and I'm unable to figure out how.
I have other things to do in my life than spending time trying to figure out how to turn a feature OFF that I never turned ON at first.

Funny... whenever I come here searching for a way to turn off a new feature that is annoying, or a way to make a feature that used to work on Desktop work in Online, I see the same thing: dozens of pages of people ranting about how "this needs to be fixed immediately!" Those of you looking for an immediate fix, you're obviously new to QuickBooks and the whole Intuit experience. Switch to another platform while you're still new enough to not lose a lot of data or money. Those of us who have been using QB for a long time know that there's no use in complaining. No one there listens.

Apparently the company is run by software developers who build whatever cool thing they want to play with. And if it doesn't work, no worries, they'll just move on to the next cool project. No one there ever fixes bugs and bad "features" reported on these forums. You will see people complaining about the same bug for years.  Even if you call, they don't do anything.

I'm still using it because our data is held hostage. No way to export it all somewhere else. I can't afford to pay someone to re-type 15 years worth of entries. So again, if you're just starting your experience with Intuit, cut your losses and get out while you can.

Their latest AI crap is relatively new, so there aren't very many pages of complaints yet. It is totally worthless, but AI is the latest cool thing for programmers to work on. So they're looking for ways to incorporate it, whether it makes business sense or not. There's no chance they're going to turn it off or even make it do something useful. It's just yet another annoyance they added that slows us down and makes us less productive. I should start counting how many times a day I have to click an "X" so I can get back to work. But counting would only take more time and there's no one I could tell about it that would care.

The new change to Quickbooks has slowed me down CONSIDERABLY. Please provide users a way to turn off this true ARTIFICIAL intelligence which is nothing but DUMB AF.

It is infuriating. I have been working on QB for 25 years. I was FORCED to use this horrid, garbagey, online system, now I have AI telling me how to do my job and it is NOT EVEN CORRECT.

Automatic credit applying is a NIGHTMARE when I have to correct it every. single. time. 

It takes FOREVER for the program to recognize that the items I am entering are NOT new and have a line item for them.
I can no longer separate APs and now have to dump 2 into one which makes it even harder.
And now this. 

Yes, turn off the AI assist boxes. They clutter my screen and don't help.
