Hello, I've been using POS18 since 2019 and i had to restore my shop's main PC to factory defaults. When i reinstalled, I couldn't get my backup POS file to restore to my software, I currently have POS v18 and am not able to update it, is there a way to install R11 update to the POS18 I have??
Under bank transactions (pending selected) I have a year’s worth of pest control payments. At this time the only way I know how to select the proper category (“From/To” and “MatchCategorize” columns) is to manually select the correct item from the drop down list. This is inefficient. For example, let’s say I have12 payments made during the year. In that case I’d need to manually adjust up to 24 items. Is there a way to accomplish the same with a single action? The screen capture below illustrates items I wish to change simultaneously to have the same selections.
We wanted to see how the feature of receiving a LOC through funding an invoice would work. My banking is connected to QBO. We knew our customer would pay the invoice within the 30 days allotted. The funds were received on the 12th and I followed the instructions creating the liability account and the expense account. I attributed the deposit in banking from the LOC to the liability account and then zero expense. When I saved it applied this deposit and the invoice is now showing as paid. In the setup directions if the customer typically uses the review and pay link that QB Capitol would intercept the payment and pay off the loan which makes sense. I know I then have a journal entry to do to balance the payment and clear undeposited funds. However, my client contacted me. It shows the invoice as paid in full so he can't pay it. Where do we go from here with this? Further research on the net shows me this: When yo
I have zero accounting experience and I've only used QuickBooks Online (QBO) for 10 minutes. Sorry. But, that's just where I am. I run a small business and this is the first time using QBO for that purpose. Hopefully, this is an easy question. I know that when a transaction is "reconciled" then that transaction matches the corresponding bank transaction. That's my understanding at this time. My question is this: How do I "see" that a given transaction is or is not reconciled?
Why is my renewal so high?
About two weeks ago, my bank connection stopped working even though I had not made any changes to the account or within QuickBooks. When I tried to reconnect to my bank in QuickBooks, it said my username and password were not valid. However, I'm able to login with the same credentials without issue on the bank's website. I contacted the bank and they told me to contact Intuit, so here I am. How do I get this bank connection to work?
Good afternoon. I just spoke with payroll customer support and they showed me how to set up payroll for my company as the owner. I previously had it set up to pay a total of $8,668 per month broken down every two weeks which would be $4,334 per check via direct deposit. After speaking with a CPA he advised me that I qualify to pay myself a 1:1 ratio of salary and distributions to help lower my personal tax burden since I operate an LLC that has elected to pay taxes as an S Corp. My question is I set the payroll up to pay myself $2,167.00 every two weeks but I didn't find a tab for distributions to pay myself the other $4,000 per month based on performance via direct deposit. My question is do I just elect to pay it as a bonus through payroll, tip, or as a commission? If I select one of those tabs for payment will it still be taxed at the same tax rate of a salary basically defeating the purpose of setting up the distribution? Or should I just elect to pay the $4,000 in a
After over an hour of Googling and searching, I can't locate Quickbooks Self Employed sign up page anywhere! I use Self Employed and want my husband to sign up for his business as well but we can't find the link anywhere. He signed up for Soloprenuer but it lacks all of the things I love about Self Employed. Please help!
I need to classify that a check may be paying for multiple projects. I also need to classify on sales receipts that different line items charges are a result of different projects
Only the deposits (credit for bank fee and interest earned) show in my register. How can I find them so that I can split them (cash-paycheck - repayment of personal loans and money gifts from Dad)?
I recently uploaded a transaction, and I'm trying to match it to my invoices. However, the transaction uploads with a 1969 date and I can't edit. What did you do to the software? You are really pissing me off.
How to I get it to default to Utilities when I enter the Vendor's name as not to have to manually click the account drop down?
You want more details? I spent over two hours trying to reverse this pain in the brain option! I went to audit log and it shows that I tried to reverse it, but the systems has internally kept the amount because I even deleted the charge that I did it on and did a journal entry and it is still remembering it. I cannot continue reconciling until this balances and it's only $11.21.
The invoice shows as paid and I also got the email and notification that it was paid. When I go to the invoice in QuickBooks it also shows the payment, but also prompts me to record a payment. The money has not shown up in my bank accounts and I don’t know what to do. Please help
