I set up a 2nd QBO account and tried to link accounts from TD Bank. It started to bring them into QBO but then it showed connected accounts from my other company account in QBO (even though I am using a different TD Bank login for this new company account). I cannot get pas this. Help!
I'm setting up payroll for my employees in QB. I already had one payroll earlier this year so I need to enter the details in QB. When entering the taxes withheld, do I enter both the employee and employer portions, or only the employee's?
We are starting a new company as of 01/01/2026 due to its current size. We have had 2 payrolls in Jan 2026. How do we get employee payroll information into new company file? I would like step by step complete information. I know how to import Employee list but this does not contain employee payroll details/information.
We have found a replacement for Shipping Manager...ShipRush works just fine and is inexpensive. We looked at dozens of alternatives to the broken/malfunctional current Shipping Manager, and found that ShipRush actually MADE the original (now defunct) functional Shipping Manager. ShipRush works automatically with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online using the "Speedy" plan which is quite inexpensive. Just a tip that I hope helps everyone going through this challenge.
Where is "Status" located on employee profile?
We are currently using QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. When we click e-file to submit the W-2, W-3, and the state annual report, we receive the following error message:“To file your return, you need the latest payroll updates.”We have already updated to the latest payroll version. Please advise.
I am using Quick Books Desktop and I want to use the feature that lets my customer pay by credit card. The process works well by matching the payment in Quickbooks. My problem is when the funds are deposited in to our bank account (Wells Fargo) there is no way to identify the customer or the invoice number. Our customers are all companies. QB shows the name of the owner of the credit card but not the name of the company. This is furthur compounded because we invoice each customer for the same monthly amount. I spendt an hour on the phone with QB Desktop and QB Payments and they tell me this is the best they can do. So I have deposits on my bank statement with no way to identify the customer who made the payment or what invoice they are paying. All I know is that Sally paid 400.00. I havn't a clue who Sally works for or what she is paying. If anyone has a solution, please let me know or in the event there isn't one, what product can perform this pretty basic functio

I’ve called QuickBooks everyday and have spent over 40 hours on the phone with support. No one can help and I’m at my wits end. Any suggestions on how to get the attention of management or someone who actually knows what they are doing?
I want to add my invoice amount to the email subject line when sending invoices. Before any 'experts' get on here trying to explain how to create an email template, that's NOT what I asked. I know how to create templates, I have several. I want the invoice amount to show up in the email subject line. How is this not possible in 2026?
QB payroll has filed the annual FUTA for the last two years, but I can't find where to download my copy. I read that this is now something I have to do manually???? If so, where is the money that was accrued for FUTA tax??

I was on the phone with QuickBooks support when they had me to a data rebuild, now my accounts payable balances are incorrect. There are Bill Payment - Checks that are showing up as unpaid bills. How can a check issued to pay bills be showing up as an open item? I have multiple vendors this has effected going back to 2020. Unfortunately, by the time I realized this I could no longer use the backup I made right before doing the data rebuild as I've already run payroll twice. I need to get these items cleared up because my balance sheet is off going back to 2020.
