The VAT report is based on the 'paid date' entered against the expense. Can I produce a report based on the bank transaction date?

The 'paid date' is the date on the receipt/invoice by default. I don't want to have to change this date in every transaction to make my VAT submission correct.

Bring forward opening balances for revenue and costs

Hi,We are moving from Sage (Online) to QB Online and need to bring forward opening balances for revenue, costs etc as we are part way through. I can get the values from Sage for say "sales" but wanted to check best method of input of same into QB (presumably a journal). These are the record accounts as opposed to customers and suppliers and happy with those of course (opening balances). Not 100% sure of correct entries in QB to record sales and costs for reporting.

Mileage tracker

I've upgraded from quickbooks SE to quickbooks online and what a badly integrated, time consuming shambles that was!. I only stayed with it as I wanted to use the mileage tracker on the app. When I tried to use the mileage tracker, which worked great in SE, it constantly threw errors and wouldn't work so I phoned quickbooks and they just said 'yeah, it doesn't work, our engineers are working on it'! which is the standard line they use for everything that doesn't work. Anyway I was cross so left a poor review on play store where they gave me a link which says the the mileage tracker should work....so does it work or doesn't it?
