Using QBO Accountant Version- EssentialsHi! I have a client using a third party app to record their transactions and payments (Opus time). Unfortunately the syncing is spotty at best and their support leaves a lot to be desired. My question is, what is the most efficient way to import hundreds of monthly invoice payments into QBO? Due to the nature of the business, most invoices are not paid in full, but paid in pieces (Partial Insurance, Partial out of pocket etc). Thanks!
We have a customer that asked that we date our invoices the last day of the previous month. We want to accommodate our customer without increasing our average collection period. Is there a way to send an invoice to the customer with one date and record the invoice at the actual day the invoice was sent?
ExampleI invoice my customer for $1000.He pays me via wire and I receive $950. I never see the wire fee but I know that is why it is $50 short. How would I record this missing $50 to mark the balance as paid and also make sure I record it as a cost of doing business for taxes?
Hello, I am new to quick books and I would like to use it for my accounting, however, I would need to import all my invoices that have been paid to date and all my expenses. I understand how to import expenses but do not understand how to import earnings and invoices that have been paid. If you could provide me directions or advice on this process so that I can use the program efficiently that would be great. Liliana
