We need to correct the chart of accounts, add expenses etc. I am nervous that I might loose some important data when we begin this corrective exercise. How can I back this data up safely?

Last night, I transfered money to cash in drawer account to set it at 120, and it started showing it, but today when i checked the balance after that transaction was showing negative,
