I'm curious if anyone has implemented the Conductor REST API to integrate with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. I am the developer of our in-house CRM and, at the moment, we use a plug-in to integrate the CRM and QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise which is a bit clunky and archaic. I have our CRM integrated with many third-party applications via RESTful APIs and would LOVE to do the same with Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise. Anyone using Conductor? https://conductor.is/
Has anyone figured out an easy way to create a report on QBO for a Positive Pay Report for your bank? Or had success with a third-party app? All the discussions I found are several years old. I can't believe QB hasn't created a report by now! The bank needs the check date, number, payee, and amount. The issue with the QBO reports is that I need the "Name to be Printed on Checks" because sometimes a company has a DBA or something like that so I issue the check to a different name. The other issue is that the amount needs to be a positive number and QBO reports always show check amounts as a negative/debit amount.
I have just started setting up and connected by bank account. It is showing my business payments/expenses as incoming payments and my business/client invoice payments received as a negative or outgoing. Any idea how I change that to swap it over? This is for a Merrill Lynch CMA account. Interestingly, I also have Bank of America accounts that upload the transactions to the correct credit/debit columns just fine.
We receive payments on behalf of our client. If the person sending us the check does not include any money for us, we deposit the check and write a new check to send to our clients.
My client has multiple pay types due to typos and errors in creating them. How do I permanently remove a pay type? I don't want anyone responsible for inputting new employees to get confused and check the wrong box. To clarify: I am NOT interested in a solution of just "unchecking the box for the specific employee." I want to know how to delete a pay type PERMANENTLY so that it is not even an option when adding a new employee.
We use Quickbooks Enterprise and would like our sales team to be able to use it for budgeting and forecasting. It seems like "full" access must be given to those users however we do not want those users to have access to payroll. We have tried simply adding other permissions to those users but we keep running into a wall that won't grant them access. Is what I want to do possible?
When I try converting a sales order into an invoice, I get the feedback : This invoice number was already used. Try a different one to continue.
Hello QuickBooks Support Team,I would like to get clarification about the automatic tax calculation that happens based on the address field. Specifically, I want to know which third-party API or service QuickBooks uses for calculating taxes. When I sync invoices from my application to QuickBooks, the tax calculation based on the address differs from the calculation on my end. Because of this, the totals between my system and QuickBooks invoices do not match by a few dollars.Could you please help me understand how QuickBooks performs address-based tax calculation so I can ensure both systems stay aligned?Thank you.
I have two companines! Yes two not one! That have major errors with the payroll setup. A QB expert suggested we wait on these two companies to start our payroll until the 3rd quarter so we did. We had been using desktop payroll for years without any problems. She said it would make inputting the payroll data easier. One company was smaller so the information was merged and the other company we tried to merge but the information was so large that the data didn't go over correctly and QB kept telling us their team was working on it so we decided to just start from scartch and use the desktop file for history purchases and the new QBO as a fresh start. I inputed all of the employess from Jan-Sept 30. in company 1. The conversation with the QB person was we would handle all of the 3Q filing and payments since we were waiting to start paying employees in October.Once the setup was complete I noticed that company 1 needed some adjusted with taxes on a couple of
There is a difference in vacation amount paid and I need to know how to edit and fix it.
A customer asked we charge her card for a specific amount and use her credit for the weekly invoices. But now she asked for a chargeback and the money was debited from the account. How can I record this transaction in QB desktop? And how will the invoices remain unpaid so that I can send them again for her to pay?
Good afternoonI am trying to create a report showing the payment date of an invoice that contains sales tax. Due to the nature of our business, we report only the collected sales tax to the state. So we need to see the invoice, invoice date, and when the invoice was paid to report the sales tax.I have tried the Average days to pay and the Customer transaction report. I have not had success. What I need are these fieldsInvoice number Invoice date Sales tax amount invoice date paidI will appreciate any assistance. right now, I have to go back to 2008 and come forward to discover what sales tax was missed and not paid to the state.
Spreadsheet sync seems like a decent tool until put further to the test. I would like to pull in all expenses for a specific date range and for a specific general ledger account in order to edit them. However, Spreadsheet sync forces me to pull ALL expenses for ALL general ledger accounts for the specific date range into Excel before editing them. This takes a long time to for the spreadsheet to load and seems unnecessary. There doesn't appear to be the ability to filter further by general ledger account (Category) before clicking the "get template" button. The only alternative is to run it for a shorter date range and multiple times over.
Hello, our 401K payments are calculated correctly by QB and show up correctly on the Pay Liabilities screen. We send a report into the carrier and they process an ACH, so in QB, I create an E Payment. The calculated amount are correct except that the 401K company adds a fixed processing fee, so ever payroll, I need to manually add this to the check. Does QB Payroll have the ability to add a fixed fee to the same vendor so that I could combine them into a single payment on the Pay Taxes and Liabilities screen? I can't find a way to do this in the 401K setup but I thought there must be a way to set up payroll fees in some manner. Thank you.
I have an amount showing up as a vendor. I'd like to find the transaction and correct this. Can I search for that specific amount?
This is my third attempt at posting this because this forum site crashed the first two times. Wonderful. When I try to write journal entries, the columns shift as I move/type and causes the account line to become basically hidden unless I am constantly adjusting the width. If I make the account column wide to try to avoid this, it starts doing it in the opposite direction causing the name & description columns to disappear. What can I do to make sure my column widths stay locked and stop shifting. I am extremely frustrated because this is not an issue I have on QuickBooks Desktop. In fact, none of the problems that exist on QBO happen on QBDT. If you are going to strong-arm everyone, and force us to all shift to QBO as you end support for QBDT in pursuit of endless profits- make sure the program WORKS. Stop pushing out unfinished updates with bugs, stop changing things overnight. Stop removing extremely important tools like Grand Total columns and Batch Entering, and
I do not see a way to filter by customer type in reports such as open invoices. I created a customer type and assigned to a customer but cannot figure out how to turn on this field for filtering. Thanks
WHY???!!!! Why do you INSIST that we adding superfluous garbage to our dashboards???!!!! STOP IT!!!! Give us the option to disable the garbage that is the Business Feed!!!!
Hello All,I am trying to apply a yearly pourcentage discount for a customer, that varies depending upon the amount of sales. For this year, the total sales would guaranty a 4% discount. How do I apply the discount on a yearly report? Is that possible? It can not be applied throughout the year because it would vary depending on the sale volumes.I am looking forward to finding an answer.Thank you kindly,Gabrielle.
