So it started with third party apps none will pull my UK ebay data into quickbooks from past months. i tried 4 and they all wouldnt do it. 2 of which the app developers told me that the uk ebay stuff is different to USA and europe so its harder for them to get it working and have had little to no interest to get it working. this has been going on for 3 weeks! ive resorted to manual import then use 1 app to do it from now on. i had to import all my ebay sales orders into quickbooks via csv myself was it a simple download and upload? NOOOOOOO! you have to change the column names and only put in the columns quickbooks will allow.  then there was the date problem e.g. 10 jun 2025 it doesnt accept those dates no options for DD/MMM/YYYY in your options WHY???  Quickbooks even with being around for many years now they are not aligned with the major platforms at all!! they rely on you using 3rd party apps and if those dont work they are like sorry we have limited information we cant

How to solve this

We have had a number of complaints from customers that when they use the card payment portal in QB via PayPal for our services, the transaction is being dealt with by their bank/card issuer as a 'Cash Advance' rather than a service payment.  One customer was told that its because of our 'Merchant Code' and another because it was "the way we set up credit card payments" (Obviously we have not setup anything its all done through QB). Anyone had this? Any ideas on how to resolve it ?

so none of the third party apps work correctly the one that works the best is the ebay connector however im lucky if i get data from more than 2 days ago. yes ive been through troubleshooting with the app people ive tried other apps 2 of which didnt support uk ebay at present something to do with a signature is different for ebay uk compared to say usa. anyway i got my stock in quickbooks but i cant manage it because i cant get my sales ini cant get my sales in because the format of reports from ebay not only doesnt map correctly to quickbooks quickbooks doesnt support multiple amounts from 1 transaction what i mean by that is sold amount (or payout amount either works) deductions for postage and ebay fees. ebay bunches them together on 1 record which is useless because i cant separate them our without a whole days worth of work and i aint doing that! i need my ebay transactions in quick books theni  can go into each one say this is for this product. or in the case

Previously the report that I customised had a filter applied that allowed me to pick a customer and generate a report specific to only that customer but now the drop down mentu does not show the list but just generic options of "all / specified / not specified". I have checked other reports and they all show the same thing. Has anything changed recently? How to revert back to what it was?
