Hi, I have been making changes of the layout of my profit or loss using sub accounts to classify the different areas of a specific enterprise - no I don't wish to use classes before this is suggested. This was working well, until last night, when for some reason the sub accounts stop showing as sub accounts when displayed on the profit or loss. Some do and some don't (however, still does on my detail Profit or Loss). I have cleared the history and tried the different browser fix, but nothing works? Any direction would be useful, I need to have produced something by tomorrow and now kind of stressing. Many thanks

I am using Quickbooks online and have made a mistake with the opening balance for employment allowance, is there anyway this can be changed. Thanks
Hi, I am new to quickbooks and have been reading and watching everything i can to find a solution to my first problem which is repenting me from actually using quickbooks at effectively. For my hair salon i have set up the daily sales customer as per the every poplar record daily sales article that seem sot be referred to every where. The issue i have is when i go to deposit the funds to the bank the daily sales receipts i entered are displayed as whole receipts and i don't have the option to select the different items from the list. Such as all the cash item after paying cash into the actual bank. To summarise, when go to 'Bank Deposit' the list of payments to select using the check box is a list of sales receipts and not a list of cash or card amounts. I have included a screen shot of the Bank deposit screen which hopefully helps. Many thanks.
Hello,When I run a report overview on a budget subdivided by a sub-customer, the report always includes a column for the parent-customer. Is there a way to avoid this so that only the column for the sub-customer remains? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I made an error while trying to add a fuel receipt that I paid for personally (limited company). I somehow thought by adding it to equity (see below) I could add what I spend. How my quickbooks total is £40 higher than my bank balance!! Need to either delete this or off set the £40 by decreasing when it came from nowhere and made a total mistake !! arrrr! I can see it on chart of accounts as the line below:-Retained profit balance forward accountEquity Opening Balance Equity 40.00Account history(I made this inactive - probably made it worst) Please help!
Hi,I need some help please. I have reconciled my account and it shows I have received about 2,500 in income by subtracting end balance and start balance but when I run a profit and loss report and set it to cash it says I have received £5100 income. I cannot see why this is and thought that setting a cash P&L account would only show what has been paid- am I doing something wrong or should I use a different report? Thanks
I am an accountant and I have QB "Accountant" facility from which I can access client online data when clients have given me authorisation. I also have a client using QB that doesn't use cloud accounting. If they send me a data file backup is it possible for me to create a new client and restore the data. Thanks in advance.....
