** Update - I think I've worked it out **I am having trouble splitting an expense with import VAT and fee.I am fairly new to QB and the display on the Split screen has changed since I last managed similar transactions which my accountant set up.The drop down to select the amounts as Inclusive of VAT is no longer on the page and the subtotal and VAT amount box are not displaying. Instead there is a split amount and a difference. This doesn't allow me to enter the fee and the VAT for the transaction to balance. I can only enter VAT charges, and if the fee is included, this becomes the difference and it isn't possible to proceed.Has the split function changed with a new update or am I doing something wrong?
Hello, I am using Quickbooks Online Simple Start for my own UK business and I can't figure why QB doesn't record deposited invoice payments in my bank account. I have 5 invoices for a customer, and 4 of them have been paid through 3 payments: The 4 invoices appear as "Deposited": And the 3 payments are instructed to be deposited to my "Wise GBP Account": However, my "Wise GBP Account" behaves as if those payments were never deposited, even though I've been able to match real transactions to them. Why is the balance negative in QB? Is this a bug? I've read about people depositing first to an "Undeposited funds" account. I don't want to go through such a process as it doesn't make sense in my case. I just want to deposit everything directly to my real bank account. How can I do that correctly? Thanks,Ștefan

Hi, I am new to QB Online UK, so trying to figure out to solve this issue. Our business current account has previously been linked on Quickbooks Bank Feeds, but was disconnected in August 2021. After this date, transactions were imported by OFX or CSV instead of direct bank feeds. This means the Bank Balance shows the balance as of August 2021, and not the Quickbooks Balance from the imported bank data. Is there a way of updating this Bank Balancing without deleting the account data or re-linking the account to bank feed? I do not want to disconnect this account and all I need is to make sure the Bank Balance and Quickbooks Balance match each month. Is this possible? Many thanks.
Hello I don't use QB much for clients however I have just taken on a new client who uses it. There is quite a large difference between the QB balance and the statement balance. Without going through every single banking transaction to see if everything has been recorded properly, how do I resolve this issue within QB? QB balance is approx £19k and the statement balance £35k

I was seeing my personal and business transactions in my QB feed.I thought is was because I have two Starling accounts with the same log in. I decided to unlink and re link my business account but have now lost my reviewed transactionsHow do I get them back?Thanks Oscar
I have not entered any new starting balances. I simply did the regular reconnect you have to do and now it is out by a few thousand pounds. This happened before and I eventually found that a transaction had been created for a very large amount out of nowhere. QB support staff have not been able to say what went wrong or help and said I needed to work through every transaction I have ever done and put against my bank statement. This of course is a massive task!

Hiplease can someone advise me about the issue i have.I have downloaded 2 months worth of bank statements and they have all been categorised and are all showing in the register but none of them have got a C Cleared next to them, if i then try to Reconcile, it doesnt show transactions there at all ??Thank you in advance
Hi,I currently use Square terminal for card payments against QBO invoices.I want to allow credit/debit card payments as an option on my invoices that can be paid online, I know this can be done via GoCardless and Paypal, it's a huge shame Square isn't an option.I don't want people to pay using their paypal account, But fine by credit/debit card managed by paypal, can the paypal account option be disabled but still allow paypal by credit/debit? Also except transaction fees for GoCardless is there any other costs eg monthly for using direct debit feature and I assume automated payments comes under this with the 3% +20p ?Is there any other pay customers can pay invoice online?Thanks
Hi,So I have a liability account, that has a Bounce Back Loan in it. Lets say for £10,000. It's Negative £10,000. That's correct. Fine. So I sync my bank transactions and apply the payment to that account. That's fine. But my interest has started coming off as well, it comes off the Bounce Bank Loan account and adds onto the balance. How do I reflect these interest payments in the BBL account and apply them to a expense P&L?
I am using QBO UK for the first time and I am normally able to update bank recs when invited as an accountant. Do I need the primary admin to undo it? If so, are there any instructions I can follow?

Our American Express feed was working, then got a notice saying under maintenance until 14 October, then an email from QBO saying I needed to re-very, now getting a under maintenance until 21/10/2022 at 19:25:00.Whats going on and when will it work again?
