Hello, I'm using QuickBooks Online, and when recording a sale OR an expense the Tax always posts to the GST/HST Payable account. Tax on Sales should be going to the payable account and tax on purchases should be going to the Receivable account, how can I change this ?
In order to get the current transactions from the bank feed into QBO, I usually have a "Complete Secure Transaction" button to click to trigger the 2FA for the bank. This button has disappeared. Any ideas why and how to get it back?

Good morning, our favourite thing: messy books! lol. I have a client who is sole proprietor and I have inherited their messy books set up by someone else.There are bank accounts no longer used and credit cards with a balance that does not match statements.The credit cards do not match because at times she paid the balance with her personal use account but the previous bookkeeper did not process the payment or reconcile the credit card. The expenses were recorded but not the payments which should have been done to owners equity.She has bank accounts and credit cards for business use only, which is good.Sole proprietors are the business, it is not a separate entity as we all know. All expenses and revenues have been recorded but not all transfers into the business use accounts from her personal use accounts have been. This does not effect the P & L but it does not reflect her true owner's equity. I would like to close those old accounts off her books and set her outstanding

Has anyone noticed a major issue just over the weekend? The all plus deposits option is no longer there when selecting the customer. And any deposits associated to any customer also do not appear in there page under : All transactions, money received, or anywhere else. In essence, any money being associated to a client from the banking page is not being linked to customer.

I contacted Outlook and they do not see an issue on their end. I am still receiving junk mail and can send emails from my Outlook. Whenever anyone tries to email me they get a bounce back email that says: Your receipt wasn’t received because it was sent from an email that’s not registered for receipt forwarding. Make sure you’re sending receipts from the email you used to create your QuickBooks account. To find out which email is registered, or to check if receipt forwarding is set up, sign in. Hi! I have many issues on the tablel today and I will put them in bulk. I have a customer that sends monthly payments. her payments are consolidated in the operation report but there is nothing in her customer files. She has been doing that for years, for some reasons, it's gone since +/- novemberI have amounts that prevents me from balancing my main bank account because, for some odd reason, an amount of a past and closed year sends me to the negative. No reconciliation is possible. It's not the first time, it happens oftenWhen wbonline connects with my PayPal account, it gets the coma confused. For exemple, if I have 600$ in PayPal, it shows 60000$ in my books. I will stick to those right now, but I am wondering if their as been a upgrade or something that causes this? Thanks

You won't be able to download the ROE BLK file until its resolved.Block 11 When terminating and employee in the Employee / Change Status screen, you are only allowed to input the Termination date. Not the last day worked. And the official ROE needs both.Example. Joe does not show up for work for a week. His last day paid was April 15. He finally shows up April 21 after missing a full week of work and he is fired. His termination date is April 21. But Box 11 requires his last day paid, being April 15. There is no field in the employee screen to input this so submitting with CRA ROE BLK file will be incorrect.

I imported a web connect file from my RBC account. However, the wrong date range was imported so I had to delete it. I did that. I imported a new web connect file and I got a message that the transactions for April have already been imported so there is nothing to import. How do I reset it so that it imports the file? Is there a way in QB to do the following using any of the editions of QB (online or desktop)?I want to be able to create and save unique billing profiles for my customers and then batch generate invoices for all my customers at the beginning of every month and email them all out without having to recreate the unique billing profile each month. Here is more detail. I have over 1000 subscription based customers, they all have different billing profiles that repeat each month. I want to batch generate the invoices and email them out at the beginning of each month. I want to go through and create the recurring billing profile for each customer. At any point in time the customer could add or reduce their services, if they do then the billing profile is adjusted in QB and then the next invoice run would reflect the change in services.
