QuickBooks Q&A

Recently Quickbooks Payments changed the Graphical Version of the Email Invoices with payment links. Now many of my customers are reporting not receiving them. Ive done all the standard research. Sent to myself. Checked/Updated email address. Contacted my Domain/Email service provider. Everything checked out as normal through all these avenues. I then changed the emails to PLAIN TEXT version in the SEND FORMS section within Quickbooks Preferences. Multiple customers who previously did not receive the invoices were now receiving them. With this research it looks like the change in code is now causing Email Servers within Domain Providers or Large Corporate to recognize the Email Invoices as Spam/Scam/Risky. This is something that needs to be addressed within the Quickbooks Email Code design or Quickbooks Payments System chain of operations. Many people will expect and presume there is some issue on their own systems or end up getting blocked from their custome
Where do I find it?
When I reviewed my 2025 end of the year balance sheet, I discovered I now have an Opening Balance Equity (OBE) account and a corresponding Credit Card liability account (named after my business name). My research shows these accounts do NOT exist when I create an April 2025 balance sheet but DO appear in my May 2025 balance sheet. The amount in each account is $11,012.83 and is dated May 25 in QBO. First, I wondered why those two accounts were there, and second, where did the $11K value come from. Our actual business credit card account has never even come close to that amount. I did a lot of searching for that value and finally got lucky on a hunch and found the exact amount listed on my Chase bank statement as one of ten “Daily Ending Balances”. The exact balance value is recorded on the bank statement as occurring on May 19th. In my research of this issue, I learned QBO will create the two accounts when a new account is created, and a starting bal
The new UI that was permanently changed for us is NOT very efficient at all. Here's an example -> I used to be able to just click on Customers from the classic UI. Now I have to 1) click on Customer Hub. Once I am there however, I have to 2) click on a Customer, instead of opening past billing history as before, I have to then 3) click on View in profile, which takes me to the Customer profile page. This now also leads to extra clicks. Is there faster way? Can I revert back to classic UI? When dealing with hundreds of customers all the extra clicks add up to a lot of lost productivity. I do not understand the logic of forcing a new UI on all your customers so that we all have to spend extra time clicking just to see our customers past invoices. Is there no way to go back to classic OR at least skip the "view customer profile" page??

I also can't go back further than December of 2025 in my transactions. I'm trying to get my taxes done and can't get anywhere on QuickBooks. Please help.
What am I supposed to do? I’ve sent multiple emails, made numerous 1-2hr phone calls. I’ve sent screenshots, tickets have been made. Everyone says they can’t find the transaction and points me in another direction every time. I can see the pending transaction on my mobile app and on the desktop site. I am in fact missing $101.00. It’s stuck in my pending so I’m unable to dispute it. I’m beyond fed up with quickbooks and greendot and am ready to close all my accounts. Paying $40/month to have $101 stolen from me is beyond unacceptable.
I HATE the new interface. How do I switch back? Did a Google Search and I do not have the option under settings.
I set up a 10% military discount underpriced rules for specific patient for all inventory and services. However, when I create an invoice, it does not auto populate. I followed all the instructions from QBO, from here. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/mobile-apps/set-price-rules-quickbooks-online/L5jI9VwXt_US_en_US?uid=mmgez1ne
i got quickbooks to keep track of business expenses, but did not actually start a business. I now want to use it to keep track of all of the household expenses. How do I start to set it up correctly?
How long does it take to transfer funds from undeposited funds to linked bank
Is anyone else having this issue? The bank balance keeps updating but the transactions are not downloading. It seems to have stopped as of sometime Friday afternoon. I thought it would be resolved by noon today but no luck. Our connected bank is BoA. I chatted with customer service and they said to give it 24 hours and see if it's resolved. The rep apparently talked to someone on the back end and they can see the transactions are downloading but they are not making their way to the online interface. I'm curious as to whether this is a BoA issue, a "me" issue or a widespread technical issue.
I have followed all instructions my bank info quickbooks have received my invoice payment and it is not depositing in my bank account. The instant deposit won't load into the system
Self-Employed Quickbooks question: I sell online and receive a lump sum several times a week for the sales from the previous days. How do I categorize a refund (full or partial refund) issued to a customer for one of those sales? Quickbooks sees the refund transaction as an expense, but this is actually negative revenue. There is no expense category for customer refund. Bottom line is that the original income for the sale should somehow be deducted from total income so that taxes aren’t incurred on it. Thank you for your help.
My QB Time subscription was suspended because I needed to update my payment method, which I did. From the Intuit Account Overview page > Manage Subscription > Products & Billing > QB Time >Want to keep your pricing and reactivate your plans? Resubscribe by 07/21/2024. A new window opens with:"Resubscribe""Company Profile" "Please update your company information to continue"and the error "Unable to load address form, please try again"My name and company name populate the form, but there aren't any address fields. Phone support couldn't help. Thank you in advance!
When I take photo of front and back of check and hit review it comes up with messages that something went wrong but dose not say what or how to fix.
Hello! I have a retail company and run my sales in POS, but want to give my commercial customers an option to pay by ACH. Invoices/statements are sent through my POS. Is there a way to create an open payment link they can use to pay invoices and/or statements? When I looked into the payment link option, it wanted me to list a payment amount, but that will vary.
I can't see my checking account number
