Hello. I've been on the phone with QB Desktop support to no avail. I'm receiving the communication error intermittently. I send hundreds of invoices out at a time, and I have been doing so for the last 4 years. This has never been a problem. If I select 10 invoices to send (a smaller batch), maybe a few of the 10 will get sent and the rest will not and I receive the message of this topic. This is a pesky intermittent problem. It will take me forever to get all of these invoices sent.Things to know:I use webmail in preferences to email formsI have a Gmail account associated I was having this problem yesterday with Enterprise 22. Upgraded to Enterprise 23 and the problem is still there. I have read on another forum that Intuit is aware of this problem. I had no issues at the end of last month (April 2023). Now all of the sudden it's a problem. If anyone has something that I can try, or knows of a workaround until
Hi all;I've been on the Desktop version - various editions - for more years than I can count. QBO has alot of things that work differently so inparticular I'm looking for guidance on the best way to handle the following:In the desktop version, I would manually transpose payment information I'd see in the Bank account to create bill payments through out the month. Than at the beginning of the following month, I would bring in the prior month bank feed, let it match up what it could, and work my way through what it couldn't matchup on its own. but now with QBO, I've side step a little and just bring in the feed and let it do what it can. than I work my way through what it can't match up on its own. Only I just had a situation were a matched and reconciled payment was linked to two invoices - and it was a mess to figure out how to fix it. so I'm wondering if I should be following what I use to do in the desktop version??Or if there is a better w
Hey everyone,I'm a bookkeeper managing about 35 clients, and I'm drowning inthe manual work of sharing reports with clients each month.Right now my process is:- Export P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow from QBO as PDFs- Upload to Google Drive folders (one per client)- Email each client: "Your reports are ready in the Drive"- Field 10-15 follow-up emails: "Where's the folder again?""Can you re-send August's report?" "I need my tax docs"It's eating up 8-10 hours a month and feels really unprofessionalcompared to how I want my firm to look.**What I'm wondering:**1. How do YOU currently share reports with clients?2. What's the most annoying part of your current process?3. Have you found any tools that actually work well for this?4. If you use something, what does it cost and is it worth it?I feel like there has to be a better way than what I'm doing, butI don't even know what options are out there beyond Drive/Dropbox.Would love to hear what's working (or not working) for you all! Thanks in
I don't have options to customize or see the invoice templates. Is there a settings under manage users I need added to my profile?
I'm paying almost $40 a month and it works maybe a few times a month. I sign in and it only has task on there and then if you click anything it says try again later and none of my business info is in there as far as unpaid invoices no customer list or a way to start a new invoice. The only thing available is a list of some over due reminders
I would like more specific instructions if the suggestion is to resolve it from the bank's end.
The only type of imports are GoogleTakeout and MileIQ . How can I import my personal location tracking data using GeoJSON or GPX ?

How to add a class to a vendor/supplier
I am interested to know if anyone recommends a specific receipt scanner that integrates with QuickBooks Online.
Quickbooks is showing an online balance of $40 dollars. The actual balance is zero and my registery shows zero but the $40 is still showing as the online balance.
Last week and previously, when I entered a payment and went back to invoices, I could see PAID on paid invoices visually. Now, this week - that stamp is gone. It is there if I go to print the paid invoice - but it was a great visual tool for me seeing it while scrolling through invoices. Can I get that back?
We use Shopify to host a website for us. Starting in January 2025 if our customer uses some app Shopify has been deducting the sales tax from the payment to us, and paying the tax agency direct. They only pay us for the goods sold minus their processing fee. How do I record this in Quickbooks? Below is what it said on Shopify's website when I was questioning it. Sales tax in ShopStarting on January 1, 2025, the Shop channel will automatically collect, remit, and file taxes for all orders shipping to or within the United States. The Shop channel collects taxes on orders in all states (plus the District of Columbia) that administer statewide sales tax, as well as Alaska local sales tax. Tax is reported under SC Commerce Services Inc. For more information on how these taxes are calculated, refer to the US taxes reference page.NoteOrders placed using Shop Pay from online stores are excluded from these tax calculations. This only applies to orders placed on Shop
This does not seem to be related to any payments. And as already stated, the word "returned" is in the email subject line of all of the outgoing invoices. The invoice itself looks normal.
Desktop version I need to run a Profit & Loss by Job. We have several jobs per customer. I'll give an example of my situation. The "parent" job number is 19001. There are several "children" for example 19001.00, 19001.15, 19001.83 etc (numbers go from .00 -.99). All of the children sum to the total 19001. I want to run a report showing ONLY the total for 19001 -- I don't want to see 19001.00, 19001.15, 19001.83 and then the total for 19001 (which is what the present report shows). How can I do this? Thank you!

I accidentally changed the status of an invoice to "deposited" before it was sent to the payor. I need to change it back to "Due".

I have some old payroll tax returns and payroll liabilities which will never be paid via QuickBooks Online. I have taken care of all of the payroll, taxes and returns. How do I get these old items from showing due?
When I open my mobile app, it literally doesn’t show any of my details, I can’t even send reminders or past due invoices.
