If an employee monthly premium is $428.28 and is taking out weekly at a rate of $107.07, what happens on the months when there is 5 weekly pay periods? Should it be omitted? Do I put in just the monthly premium ($428.28) each month in the limit section of the deductions so that they only pay $428.28?
Can I import my QuickBooks (Mac) 2016 files into QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 for Mac? Also, is QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 for Mac compatible with MacOS26 Tahoe?
Our booster org bought three of the tap/chip GoPayment readers, and one of them never worked right out of the box. It initially connects, beeps and shows Connected, but then immediatly shows four dots . . . . that fade in and out. At that point the app shows disconnected. If you tap connect reader again in the app, the reader again beeps, says connected, but goes back to the four dots and the app disconnected. Is there a way to do a hard reset or something to try and get it working? I've tried the forget and reconnect protocol, and I've tried three different tablets ( all android ). Any help is greatly appreciated!
I have QB Desktop 2020 on a 64 bit, Windows 10 computer. Is it safely possible to move it to my new computer that is 64 bit, with Windows 11?
I keep getting extra charges on my account......
Greetings,I am using QB Desktop Pro Plus 2023. I have an LLC with two members. While digging into the capital account balances it appears that the closing entry into the main Retained Earnings account is wrong. My understanding is that this number should be the net income for the LLC for that year. The existing entry does not match the Net Income number from the Profit & Loss report for a given year.I see no way to edit/modify that entry. Double clicking on the Closing Entry line in the Retained Earnings quick report (which does show a magnifying class icon) opens up a random invoice (???).HELP! The errors go back many years and I need to get this resolved. Thanks in advance,Lori
I am looking to stop using fixed asset manager since we have been having some issues with it and cannot get assistance. We use Desktop/QBE, can we just stop using it by not opening it? Do we need to delete it? I want to be sure it does not create any entries going forward.
I know I can normally use any ATM, but does QuickBooks own any ATMs?
How can I dispute a debit on my account
I am trying to correct an issue in QB Pro Desktop that prevents me from activating Direct Deposit for a client. The issue seems fairly clear to me but I can't get anyone at QB to understand it. This client has Desktop Pro and Enhanced Payroll. The desktop program itself has an email ID. However, about 7 years ago after a series of issues QB decided to assign a different user ID (not email) for the payroll portion - separate from the email address. Now that I have been trying to activate Direct Deposit for almost a year. Direct Deposit wants an email address -- will not accept a user ID - and will not let me go forward. I'm not sure but I think if you could just assign an email to this clients payroll or merge the email and user ID I think that would do it. In numerous attempts to solve this, I have been on the phone in several phone calls and on hold for hours, cut off, been escalated, sent back to the bottom of the line, called back at
Hello, I've been trying to activate direct deposit for several weeks. I've been on chat or phone support with Quickbooks for about 5 hours and they still can't fix the problem. I keep getting error number 40001.I've tried all their solutions, but none have helped. Each time I contact them the beginner level support always tries the same solutions. Even the tier 3 support couldn't help. Even more frustrating is that they promised to send me an email with the solution, but that didn't happen. Several times the call with they gets disconnected and no call back.To top it off, the Contact Us option on my quickbooks pro plus 2022 isn't working. This is my worst experience with quickbooks in 18 years.
There's a warning in Payroll Center saying: Update your payroll account info by July 31, 2020. So, I clicked "Update account" > "Update now", and I get Error Code : 40001. Does anyone have a fix that does not require waiting forever for an online chat, or talking to someone in support that has roosters in the background? Thanks in advance.
Hi! I need to know how to classify into multiple classes a large sum at once that covers all the paychecks we paid from 2025. We did not time track during the year, but I have done it in excel and have the percentages by class of how to to breakdown the total salary amount. Thus, all the salary amounts show up as not specified in my statement of accounts by class report and that is what I am trying to impact. I attempted to do a journal entry breaking down the total salary amount into individual debits per class, but it is still not showing up in my Statement of Accounts by Class. It still shows up as not specified. Can anyone help? Thank you!
Hi, I just up-dated to Tahoe 26.3.1, and now my QB's 2022 Locks up whenever I try to launch? I've tried with extensions off and it still locks up. I just downloaded 2024 and it won't let me register online, and if I remember correctly, the last time I called they couldn't help as all desktop software was no longer supported and I'd have to go via the online option now.:( My 2022 worked fine before I up-dated, is there a work around?
"I reconciled transactions last month and everything was cleared. But, this month, I see a different beginning balance. What's wrong?
I need to merge duplicate customers on QB to leave one customer file, but it needs to be merged in the opposite direction on our integrated inventory platform. Is it possible to do this? For example: I have Customer A & B that are duplicates we need to keep the Customer A account active on QB but the Customer B Account active on our integrated inventory platform.
Hello, I am trying to set up Colorado FAMLI (Family and Medical Leave Insurance) for an employee, but the instructions I found do not match what I see in my QuickBooks account. The guidance says to go to Edit Tax Withholdings for the employee to add FAMLI+, but that option does not appear anywhere in my employee setup. Additionally, the instructions mention assigning a policy in Payroll Settings, but I do not see any place in my settings where a policy can be created or assigned. For context:I am using the QuickBooks Online Basic Payroll planI have an employee located in ColoradoI have already checked the employee tax setup and payroll settings, but there is no option for FAMLI or policy assignment I am trying to determine whether:This feature is not available on the Basic Payroll planThere is a different setup path that is not reflected in the instructionsThere may be a system issue or glitch preventing the option from appearing Has anyone else experience

We received and email with this in the body ... "We've revised our terms and conditions to include an industry standard per employee fee. The per employee fee went into effect on February 1, 2026. Please see FAQs for more information. As part of your renewal, you acknowledge that you are the approval authority for this customer account. To avoid payroll service discontinuation, please accept the terms and conditions [Link removed by moderator]. If you have already provided consent, no further action is needed." When we click on "please accept the new terms and conditions" nothing happens. I have been able to find out if we have already provided consent on the platform or in support. How can I confirm that we've already consented to the new terms/ Thanks, Terri S.
