I can link payments to invoices up until a specific date but after that it doesn't show when trying to record the payment. In the bank transaction section I can see the payment but it only allows me to mark it as 'business' but not directly to the relevant invoice.

I paid myself a dividend and noticed that it comes out as an expense, this doesn't seem right. Can someone explain how to record this prperly in QBO. UK Limited company, single director/shareholder. Thanks Jim

'm unable to match a USD payment to open GBP bills for one specific vendor in the bank transactions section. This used to work until last month, but now no bills appear when I try to match. The bills are open and correctly entered in GBP, and the payment is correctly recorded in USD. This issue seems limited to one vendor—others work fine.

Hi all, Months ago I had to add a bcc email to one of my customers invoices. I can now not get rid of it. I can delete every time I do an invoice- but I want to permanently delete the Bcc address that is stored against this customer. I have searched in the customer details and in my invoicing settings but can't find a way.  Can anyone point me in the right direction please before my bcc colleague gets so fed up of me forgetting to delete her address that she leaves! Thanks

I purchased the program CD in December 2011. I have just replaced my hard drive and am now getting a message I have reached the maximum number of unregistered uses. I have tried calling the [removed] number but keep getting lost within the options as none suit my situation. This is daft as there was no limitation on use when purchased. I do not need or want technical support only to get back my program access.

I am considering a subscription to QuickBooks Self Employed, but as I run a micro bakery from home, my question is how to manage expenses that are divided between business and personal use? At the moment I can claim 25% of mortgage and utilities etc against tax, but I can’t find an easy way of doing this split on QuickBooks?Any advice would be warmly welcome, other than this query that I can’t seem to find answers to online, it looks like a very user-friendly system!

Our company is considering deploying QB Online Advanced. There seem to be many questions and concerns about native backup and recovery with this product. We use a third-party product to back up premise-based server data and to perform cloud-to-cloud backups of M365 data. What would be required to perform QB backups to a local server that could then be captured by the third-party product and saved to that cloud. What would be the format of the files saved locally?  If we had to restore a file from 5 years ago, for example, we'd want to be sure that the file format could still be restored to a copy of the current application or to a product like Excel that can still render older data. Are there any limitations to what kinds of QA Online data could be backed up locally?       

Is this option only available in the old format Invoice?
