It continually happens over and over with different customers, but mostly when we go to their actual account and choos the drop down box to create a new transaction. Anyone else having this issue?
I do not like these features, and find them intrusive when I am trying to complete tasks. I would like to disable them all.
I have customers that pay multiple Invoices on one payment, but the RECEIVE PAYMENT screen only sorts Invoice's by date ?! and does not sort them by Invoice # .. the only option to FILTER is by date???
Yesterday I made a error in completing the writing of a payroll check that has not been issued yet. Is it best to DELETE or VOID it. before rewriting a new check.?
30 day free trial restrictions?
Is there a lockdown feature that would prohibit entries from updating general ledger accounts?
I don't think there is a way on QB without changing your reports?
For users that have Quickbooks Desktop roles that require an Intuit account linked to their email id, in a new deployment, the window which would normally display a login prompt is just hour glassing. This was not happening at the previous site/deployment where Quickbooks users worked. My proxy team reports that no internet traffic is being blocked. While I am skeptical of this, I'm wondering if the QB community or engineers have any experience with this issue.
I wasn,t given an answer
My merchant account has been closed unexpectedly and I have client payments that were already paid but not deposited to me! I have now read countless issues of people in the same position as me, and no one seems to be able to help. I have a large payment on hold in my account since last week, even after providing the requested bank statements. Only to log in a few days later, and see my payment deposit is on hold and marked as 'EXPIRED' . I am told my phone representatives that my merchant account has been closed for an unknown 'business decision'. This is awful. I feel I have just been ROBBED and will never see that money I worked so hard to receive. Truly horrible service. I am praying someone can resolve this for me.
Tax year 2025 1099s should have been mailed to recipients but as of 2/2 none have received them. Is this a broader QBO issue?
I have QBs desktop enhanced payroll. One employee. I have not run any payroll for 2026 yet. I am looking at my payroll list of items and under Co Withholding, there is no percent/dollar amount, it is just blank. I was under the impression that the Quickbooks update took care of THAT item (as it does with Fed/SS/Medicare) . I do know I have to manually go in and update the Co State Unemployment rate each year as that is business specific. I did not change ANY settings in terms of my employee setup this year and it has withheld the taxes every year previous for the CO withholding taxes so wondering if I missed a notification about this item and an update for it? I am also seeing that the State of Co Famli pd leave percentages have NOT been updated for 2026 either and are still showing the .88 from 2025. I was told that once QB's received that update, then payroll would "correct itself"...is that accurate as well? Thanks for any help
The recipient moved to another state so the mailing address on the 1099 is current. Box 6 on the 1099 defaulted to the current address, but all monies were earned in another state prior to the move. Which is the correct state listing for Box 6 on the 1099?

I am new to QBO, and have accidentally created some accounts in the chart of accounts that are approximate duplicates of accounts that are present in the default list. I tried merging them, but they still appear in the list of inactive accounts. I cannot get rid of them! I see that others have the same complaint. Please fix this!
Our account was taken over by hackers on 8/22/24 Once they were in QB they changed the password, telephone number and the linked bank account. They created invoices using 2 of our customers taking a total of $5000.00. We became aware of the incident at 8:00 p.m CST. We could not change the password or get into our account. Thank goodness we had access by face recognition on the iPhone so we were able to change the password and all the other information. Issue #1 - We contacted QB that evening only to learn there is no support to report this after hours. Why would you not have cyber security support for QB online??? Had we not been able to change our password we would have been taken for much more.Issue #2 - We contacted QB support on 8/23/24 only to be advised they would have to deactivate our account to further research. As we were talking to the initial rep we were advised our account did not appear to have any transactions going t
I am trying to edit my settings and this error keeps popping up. I have tried logging out and back in, as well as deleting history, cookies, and cache. Nothing is working. I am the only user so it is basically saying "myself and myself were working on this at the same time."
Hi, I have someone using QB 2019 Mac Desktop and they asked me for assistance in setting up a multi-user setup for them. They will be using the file simultaneously on Mac's however one will be remoting in. They want to be able to both work simultaneous which I can only find that it has to be hosted on either a cloud service which is PC based or a separate Mac to be the host for the local person to connect to via network and the remote user to remote into. I have seen services to host on a PC and not affect the PC use, but that is a PC, not a MAC.Any suggestions would be very helpful. I tried to make this as clear as possible for the request being made of me.Thanks, Greg
