With the most recent update, Quickbooks Online seems to be auto-saving customer credit cards on Sales Receipts and Payments. It used to be that we had to check "Save credit card for future use" manually but now it's auto-checked. Is there a way to disable this? Most of our customers do not want their card saved on file.
Customer email addresses disappear when selecting "Combine forms to a recipient in one email" in send forms. This is the first time this has happened, did something change in the latest update. The pictures show the Send Forms window before and after selecting "Combine forms to a recipient in one email"
I am trying to replace a payroll check from 2024. Quickbooks had me reissue the check with todays date (10-6-25) but its falling under my liability for the month of October. How do I void out the replacement checks so it does not incur liability payment. I already paid liability when check was issued in 2024

Does anyone use a third-party application that functions in the RightWorks Remote Desktop environment to generate Certified Payroll Reports using Quickbooks Enterprise Contractor Edition? Currently, we generate the report in Quickbooks, but the new form requires so many manual selections, that the process now takes hours each week. Thanks!
I am monitoring the progress of QBO for a long time and decided to chat with a sales rep about it. Coming from QBD Prem, and using bulk and assembly items a lot, I had lots of questions how to handle this in QBO. The short answer, QBO does not handle either.I still wanted to check out more of the QBO functionality to get a handle of what it would take to move from QBD to QBO. The person on the chat send me a link to a QBO test "advanced" test company, which supposedly should have inventory control included, but after spending about an hour going through various functions I could not find any option to look and/or adjust inventory. I also did not find an option where I could make inventory adjustments to use this function to convert bulk inventory in lbs or kilo to our sales inventory based on ounces.I also saw lots of "bloat" and wasted space on the screen and lots of comments if I want to try KI functionality. Is there an option to switch most/all the bloat off to get more real functi

Why so many options now with more clicks to get things done? This is an accounting system where we need to get in and out with bank feeds & reconciliation; entering, paying bills, and printing checks; creating invoices & receiving payments; and maybe doing payroll/taxes & running reports. I'm confused as to why there's so much fluff now with the screens. As a ProAdvisor, training new users is harder than what it used to be. How are existing users feeling about all the "NEW" features? Why can't I find a way to turn things OFF for my users with the left menus or the desktop view? And when we add transactions, do we have to scroll down or right before we see a SAVE or DONE button?
I want to view my QB Online to desk View Old way. Installed the app and logged out and logged back in and I can not get it to switch? Please advise
After printing my accounts payable checks, is there a way to create address labels (or a QB file to merge) for JUST those payables? I can't figure it out. I thought maybe I could create an export file using the Bill Payment List Report, but it doesn't allow me to add the address in my columns. Any ideas? I want to do this because I don't want to use window envelopes for my payables. I want to either have a label or print the envelope without having to do it one by one.

I can’t change the status of bill by “paid”
When trying to import transactions from Suntrust I am getting error code OL 222 for one of the accounts. I have googled an d read and tried everything. What do I need to do to get these transactions into QBs? Can I import a csv? If not - what?
Often I have a phone number, PO #, estimate # or partial address to connect to the full client. Button looks to be gone as of today.

I’m in the Bank Transactions area – looking at my credit card stuff. Regarding the screen shot below – I already know which account the payment was made from – however QuickBooks presents this ambiguous screen. Where are the dropdown menus showing Transaction Type, Account, and From/To? How can I gain access to these dropdowns so that I can post this transaction? Like I said – I already know which accounts this entry belongs to.
