I upgraded to desktop 2024 MAC last year. I DID NOT want to have to worry about annual renewals since I have a small single user real estate business and do not need the online version. I cancelled the close to $1000 renewal figuring I could continue operating my quick books for a couple of years , then update if I felt it was needed. I have been shocked to find out that my QB is no longer operational--I cannot print checks or add items into the register! What's going on?

I did what the instructions said to do for downloading older statements. The first account I tried was for Bank of America credit card. It requires that I do one month at a time so I picked December 2024 (since I already have everthing from Ja 2025 on. I chose Microsoft Excel format which renders a CSV files. According to the instructions, that's what is need - CSV. But I get a file upload error trying to bring it into QB.
We want to create specific server which will send requests to QuickBooks API and want to set outbound traffic only to QuickBooks. Where can we get the list of IPs? Thanks
When I create a parent customer like ABC Partners, Inc. and a sub customer like 123 Main Street, I would like to automatically print the sub customer's info on the sales receipt. Is there a way to set up sales receipt forms to do that? I am especially interested in hearing back from other QBO users, not just QBO employees.
I have found no recent conversations about this since last February. My admin has created several customized invoice templates according to client specifications. I have standard user-limited (customers & vendors) access. [At least that is what it looks like]. When I create a new invoice I cannot see any option to choose a saved customized invoice template. This is a vital issue as I handle all A/R except payment receipts. I have tried this in the desktop app and in the web browser Chrome; all cache and memory have been cleared.Has there been any resolution to this problem? If this option is still limited to admin-level users it shows IMO a clear lack of understanding of common small business workflow.
Is anyone else getting super annoyed with these two versions of pages like the accounting pages, banking pages, report pages??? When will QuickBooks just have one that works? I have tried both new and older version of pages and they both have glitches and issues. Example, the banking page added a transaction into the bank register, went into the "categorized" tab but doesn't show up in the register and made my accounts not reconcile at end of month. Reports, is missing information randomly, doesn't happen every time so hard to have it fixed, just doesn't display all the transactions and columns sometimes. The new pages honestly don't offer anything accept you have to learn how to use the platform and the annoying inaccurate AI suggestions that I need to be able to turn off because it is so wrong. How do I get rid of the new invoice format?
We would like to enter Bills into QB Online using the Import feature, but I can't figure out how to do that. I've disconnected the CC and reconnected several times and selected 2025 transactions to download but only "grabs" the single month. Any way to resolve this?
I have two vehicles currently saved in Quickbooks, one is primary, one is an old car I sold a couple years ago. I have sold the "primary" car this year and got a different one at the start of the year. I've tried to 'add vehicle' - didn't work. I tried to just edit the old car's details to the new one, that didn't work either. Does Quickbooks Self-Employed not work anymore?

Hello, I've been using POS18 since 2019 and i had to restore my shop's main PC to factory defaults. When i reinstalled, I couldn't get my backup POS file to restore to my software, I currently have POS v18 and am not able to update it, is there a way to install R11 update to the POS18 I have??
Under bank transactions (pending selected) I have a year’s worth of pest control payments. At this time the only way I know how to select the proper category (“From/To” and “MatchCategorize” columns) is to manually select the correct item from the drop down list. This is inefficient. For example, let’s say I have12 payments made during the year. In that case I’d need to manually adjust up to 24 items. Is there a way to accomplish the same with a single action? The screen capture below illustrates items I wish to change simultaneously to have the same selections.
We wanted to see how the feature of receiving a LOC through funding an invoice would work. My banking is connected to QBO. We knew our customer would pay the invoice within the 30 days allotted. The funds were received on the 12th and I followed the instructions creating the liability account and the expense account. I attributed the deposit in banking from the LOC to the liability account and then zero expense. When I saved it applied this deposit and the invoice is now showing as paid. In the setup directions if the customer typically uses the review and pay link that QB Capitol would intercept the payment and pay off the loan which makes sense. I know I then have a journal entry to do to balance the payment and clear undeposited funds. However, my client contacted me. It shows the invoice as paid in full so he can't pay it.
