I have two QBO accounts. One for payroll and one for books. Payroll has always exported to my books account but stopped exporting last week.

I am using the automated sales tax feature; however, there are a handful of states that not all of the jurisdictions are added. For example, Alabama is missing all but about 10 counties. The only solution I have been given is to manually add each of those counties and then run a report for each of them separately. I would be spending an entire day on just filing Alabama's sales tax each month. I was told with the new QB update that this was going to be resolved, but it has not.
The data in the OTHER 1 and OTHER 2 columns are not showing up in the Open Purchase Orders report. You can see both of the columns, just not the data. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/6z9w9eu9iim0zcplx3vco/QB-1.jpg?rlkey=el1lfvf1bixsiyhni6ejnbd81&dl=0 On the PO, you can clearly see the data for OTHER 1 and OTHER 2. Not sure why it doesn't show up on the report. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/sdhu7bty4u5l2u38lu4nm/QB-2.jpg?rlkey=ipyq18fp81inscs89tpb0hrfj&dl=0 Note that I am using a custom Purchase Order template. I have titled FOB, OTHER 1, and OTHER 2 with different names. I don't think that should have any effect but thought I'd mention it. FOB outputs the data on t he report though, while the data doesn't report for OTHER 1 and OTHER 2.https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dlup1243wbehzn9jbvj0l/QB-3.jpg?rlkey=7g51fhchdx6l33am55cc5npfr&dl=0 Please help!
Can we accept donations on our non-profit website without having to send an invoice? If it's possible, how do we do it? Thanks!
any help?
Just transferred from Desktop to Online and am totally stunned that there is no option to include the absolutely critical "Memo" field in custom reports. As a result, all the 30 or 40 custom reports developed in Desktop are now rendered useless. My first thought is that this is simply a programmer mistake due to lack of understanding how Memo fields work. Memo entries are probably one of the most fundamental fields in Quickbook. Almost every sale or expense has a Memo attached to it. A person's name for a deposit. An aircraft tail number for a membership sale. The memo column, of course, continues to be available in all transactions fields. But open a customs report and the only available option is some thing called "Memo/Description" which does not populate with existing Memo entires but rather with downloaded bank transactions comments. After having spend hours on the phone with support that varied from a genuine effort to help to totally
I have already accessed current SOC reports for QBO, but I need historical reports in connection with a financial statement audit of previous years.
I just recently purchased QB Desktop Premier. I keep getting messages that I can setup custom price levels for individual customers. I ask help in QB Desktop for the instructions to do this but I do not see the Price Level Option in Lists. Do I have this option in this recent version? If not, how to I stop it from telling me I do?
QB is not saving my work. It gives me a partial reconcile after Ive already finished and I open it up the next day it shows a partial reconcile. Now it also is not saving invoices or deposits. It's on a MAC sop I don't know if the update has messed it up or what. Anyone elected have this trouble?
I am using the self-employed version of Quickbooks and such invoices that I have already marked as paid are being counted in Overdue invoices in my dashboard. This is just misleading.
Our fiscal year is from 9/1 to 8/31. Thank you for your help.
Hi,I would like to edit the email template that is used for sending batch invoices. I know how to edit the email template that goes out for single invoices. From the preferences menu, I choose "Send Form" then from there I choose "Invoices". However when one sends batch invoices that uses a different template than the "Invoice" template. The "batch invoice" template does not seem to be in the list. I would like to be able to edit the text, and insert first_name , etc. Even if I edit the email message in the send batch screen it does not use the edited text, rather a batch invoice template from somewhere. Thanks,Henry
The change in Intuit happened yesterday.
QuickBooks Checking, marketed as a comprehensive banking solution for small businesses, is essentially a white-labeled service provided by Green Dot Bank. This partnership has raised concerns due to Green Dot's reputation and the nature of its financial products.Green Dot's Financial Model:Green Dot primarily offers prepaid debit cards rather than traditional checking accounts. These prepaid cards function differently from standard checking accounts:Limited Banking Features: Prepaid cards may lack essential banking services such as check writing capabilities and may not support certain types of electronic transactions.Fee Structures: Users often encounter various fees, including charges for card activation, monthly maintenance, ATM usage, and balance inquiries.Absence of Traditional Banking Protections: Prepaid cards might not provide the same level of consumer protections, such as overdraft facilities or fraud dispute mechanisms, that are standard with traditional checking accou

All day yesterday, 8/11/25, the webpage said "You're next in line" for Live Experts. And it is still that way on 8/12. I don't think it's working at all because I was on a call at 9:45am but the tech's screen share didn't work, then 10 minutes later, the call was dropped and ever since , I don't get the final screen that verifies account name and tel # before it says "you're next in line".
QB changed past reconciliation that had already been completed by adding this amount. All reporting thrown off and all company numbers now incorrect. How can QB even access books without permission?
On trying to pay withholding tax to Maryland via QB Desktop Payroll (as I've done every pay period for 20 years), my payment was rejected twice this week with the following error: Problem: FEIN and CRN combination does not match an account.Solution: Verify your CRN with the state and update your company information in QuickBooksError Code: 900026 My FEIN and CRN are absolutely correct and have not changed. I've spoken with both Intuit and the Maryland Comptroller's Office. My instinct tells me this problem is at the Maryland end as I also had some trouble trying to file and pay manually through MarylandTaxConnect. The Comptroller's office told me that they've received several other complaints and have referred mine to their IT department. Is anyone else having similar issues? Has anyone found. resolution?
