How do I find an old invoice?
I still have some payments due from June that I will pay next month, but I would like to file on time. It seems I need to make all payment before I file.
I got payed from a client....it has been a week payments are on hold...does anyone know why?...or has this happened to anyone else??
The expense isn't showing. Also, the profit didn't pull over when I marked the invoice paid.
I received an email that appeared real and was taking funds and sending to accounts and other countries. I got up and checked my account activity this morning and do not see anything with these payments. So beware, the email looks creditable but is not.
Hello. If my limited accounting knowledge is correct, Billable Expenses can only be categorized as "Income and Expense" or "Invoicing or Payments" within QuickBooks. Both of those categories are fully included in Quickbooks Online Simple Start. So, how can that feature not be included in Simple Start? Someone please help me understand.
I am disgusted by QuickBooks for not solving such a simple problem - 5 years after it was first reported.Xero has allowed this for years! This would be such a simple issue to resolve! (Just make it so you can see emails being sent from your "Manage receipt senders") - or make the email bounce back to click the link. This process would allow completing accounts so much faster. Can QuickBooks actually fix this!
I have quickbooks desktop 2019 pro. I changed computer and used the migrator to transfer the files to the new computer. I do not remember setting a password during the migration, but now I have a zip folder that cointains all my files that is password protected and I cannot unzip it without password. I tried using the Password Reset tool as suggested by Intuit, but it's not working. I think it's because the company file is inside the zip folder.Unfortunately I don't have the old computer any longer.
Problem: Some sales receipts are not presented to match a deposit downloaded from the bank account. This typically occurs when a single sales receipt should match a single deposit. In my case, a donor contributes online using donorbox. Donorbox then processes the contribution using Strip resulting in a processing fee that varies, deducted from the contribution. QBOnline tries to match the deposit amount to the sales receipt and fails because the amount isn’t within matching range. This forces the user to use a WORK-AROUND and:1) manually find the matching sales receipt; 2) modify the sales by adding a line to deduct the processing fee; 3) save the receipt and then; 4)return to the banking screen to complete the match. Currently, sales receipts are filtered by the system if the receipt amount differs from the deposit amount downloaded from the bank by more than a certain percentage (it seems to be <5%).Please stop the asinine WORK-AROUND and give us a user administ
We contract HVAC repairs and installations. Sometimes we will generate an invoice for a service call to inspect, repair, etc., but offer to waive the invoice (or line items) if the customer opts to install a new unit. Should we treat this initial invoice as a write-off / bad debt? The work was performed, but we know we won't be taking a payment for that particular invoice. Thanks.
How can I undo a reconcile that I have already finished
I doing payroll with QB for the first time and need to have the option to make Office Compensation a salary.
Hey all. Can’t believe I ended up here looking for help or suggestions. The short is we had 2 QBO companies, which were the same physical company with a single EIN. This was because payroll was brought online first. Currently, under gear>tools>back up company>copy there is a copy running since 5/27, 9 full days, 0% progress and no errors. We have gotten into a chat or phone support numerous times per day for the past 2 weeks. Totaling over 100 hours at this point. We keep being given INV (investigation) numbers about this from the back end, then that number is closed the next day. Below will be the original message to QB help that led us to upgrading both companies to the max, so we had access to all the backup and copy and restore features. Everything was going smooth and we were assured what we wanted to do was normal and would not be an issue. If anyone has experience, help, suggestions, willing to listen to just about anything at this point. Thanks in advance. Over th
I was looking for a way to format my OH local filings for the EFW2 but the instructions did not pull the local withholdings. Anyone out there that files RITA-OH local filings have any way to do this within QB's desktop would be nice to know how to do this so I would not have to mail the W2s.
We are a nonprofit and had a state department give us funds for road work, this was paid on our loan for our building from the state. How do I record this in Quickbooks?
We converted from QB desktop to QB online. We are told due to "system limitations" that QB online does not support a 457 payroll deduction code. Our employees are allowed by IRS code to contributed to BOTH a 403B retirement plan AND a 457 retirement plan. Intuit refused to set up a 457 code therefore we cannot process our payroll accurately for our employees. HELP?
