Hello! I am using WIP for job tracking. When I close WIP (by closing out the "item" and transfer into "COGS) this zeros out the WIP report, but the WIP Account does not show any deductions. I suppose this makes sense because "closing WIP" is not touching the WIP account, so what do I need to be doing to make sure that when i create a "Bill" to close out WIP that is also reduces the WIP account? Thank you so much!
I cannot access my payroll information. Workforce is telling me that the company doesn’t exist.
Etsy says it's still connected on that end, and QB says it's connected and updating, but nothing has posted since 02/08.
What if I used to work for a different company that used my gmail account and now a new, different employer has invited me to use quickbooks workforce with the same gmail and it is telling me I cannot have access? I suspect this is because I no longer work for the prior company? Can you help with how I can resolve this?
I need to email a batch of invoices to my QB email... is there a way for QB to automatically separate them into individual attachments and into separate entries for my QB account?

QB changed the email for my vendor to their accounting email when I paid them, and now the order email is gone. Can there be multiple emails for one vendor? If so, how?
Invoices do not load and we can't make changes or save changes. Buttons at the bottom of the invoice screen are not "clickable". The only button that you can click on is Recurring. You can see the other buttons but you can't click on them. File size warnings and character limit warning are not alerting the user so when invoices do save and "send" they fail because they exceed the attachment limit and/or the character limit. Support did not realize this was an issue because they did not get a warning and I did not get a warning. I'm sharing a discovery regarding our current invoicing issues that support seems to have overlooked. Our problematic invoices exceed the 20MB maximum attachment file size, with some reaching over 46MB. Previously, QBO alerted users when this limit was exceeded; however, that warning is no longer appearing. During my recent support call, the agent didn't recognize the total file size as an issue, as neither of us realized the attachments on the pr
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to run Enterprise Diamond for 6 companies on the same computer as Enterprise Gold for one company. I purchased the subscription but when I go to install it I'm not able to pick the location for the program files and I'm afraid it will override the current Contractor 24 version I have set up under the Diamond subscription. Maybe this isn't the case but I didn't want to try it without getting some feedback first. I need to use the enhanced payroll for the gold company while maintaining the assisted payroll for the diamond companies due to employees being in Wyoming (not supported by assisted). Please help as the call desk expert said I just need to purchase a separate computer. [Attachment with PII removed]
When will Intuit be updating the 941 form to include Non-Qualified Tips earnings in box 2 of the 941 form? Without them the form is wrong. From what I can tell, the first quarter form is due in 8 days. So, there's not a lot of time left. The latest payroll update, 22608, includes a note on the "Update News" report that the 941 has been updated, but doesn't give any indication at all as to what was updated, and so it's completely useless. And the form still doesn't include Non-Qualified Tips earnings in box 2.
HII have one employee with a bad file QB is almost doubling his federal withholding, firstly yes I checked everything over and over and so did quickbooks customer service, three hours wasted even with an 2nd tier tech expect, they could not figure it out , so they told me to manual figure withholding weekly from IRS publication, it's not a catch up situation , there is no extra withholding, everything has been checked by multiple experts
Our team of sales guys are having issues with the new invoice and estimate layout. Is there a way to return to the classic layout until intuit figures all the bugs out or just permanently stick with the classic layout? The new "modern" layout is worse in every way compared to the classic one.
Want to keep your cash flowing smoothly and avoid financial hiccups? Understanding the difference between a budget and a forecast is the secret to planning for a successful business future. While they may seem similar, each tool plays a unique role in helping you navigate your financial journey. Key differences between a budget and a forecast: The Budget is your rulebook: It sets static financial goals for the year and tracks your planned spending. • The Forecast is your GPS: It is a dynamic prediction based on real-time data that tracks predicted outcomes, including best-case and worst-case scenarios. • Adjustment frequency: A budget stays put for the year, while a forecast should be updated constantly to reflect current market reality. • The success formula: For long-term success, you should regularly compare your budget, your forecast, and your actual results. When running certified payroll we now get the error "Visual basics error with hidden module cpinterview". I've already been on the phone with quickbooks support who after an exhaustive session directed me to microsoft. Microsoft did the same directing me to quickbooks. I've posted a help topic on microsoft and they too point me to quickbooks support. At this point we are no longer able to run certified payroll at all and are nearly a week behind. With the upcoming launch of the automated payroll tax payments, has there been any updates to the workflow to file the payroll taxes for the local and state payroll tax entities that do not accept filings and payments from QuickBooks Online? For example, I reached out to Washington LNI and Workers Comp will still have to be paid and filed outside of QuickBooks. Can we have the ability to turn off automated payroll tax payments to certain entities via Checkbox in the payroll settings as this will reduce duplicating work that will have continue to be completed manually? Also, are there any updates to remove states no longer an active part of business locations? These inactive locations stay active in payroll settings and should be made inactive once the last filings have been completed pertaining to prior employees. I find that QuickBooks continues to charge for inactive states, including filing tax forms that are not to be filed. Removing inactive states with a check box or update to the
MN Paid Leave set up on Desktop QB. I am unable to edit the percentages in the Payroll Item List, which are incorrect. .88% showed up for employer and employee. S/B .66% for employer and .44% for employee. I am, however, able to enter the correct percentages from within the Employee Center set up for each employee, State taxes, Other. So, the correct amount is being withheld from their checks. But, why can I not edit the Payroll Item percentage amount? Also, why is there no payroll liability showing up for this withholding in Payroll Center? I paid it online, but it should be showing up as a quarterly reminder in the payroll liability section of Payroll Center.
After recently reconciling our books, we found a payment that was "disputed". For what ever reason, the payment was made and never received by our bank. This left the account appearing to be paid with zero balance since QB recognized the payment and applied it to the invoice. The only way that we found it was when we saw a QBO payment still sitting in the deposit folder after a couple months. My questions is: Is there a way to get notified when something is "disputed"? We literally had to click on the payment details page to see that it was "disputed". It would of been caught quicker if we reconciled more often but up to this point, we had no clue this was "disputed". Is there a report that we can print that shows all online payments and the final result? Also, how is this handled? Just delete the payment and have the customer pay the invoice again? They have been notified and they do not know what happened either.
Every time after I open quickbooks desktop pro 2018 it says Your current session will expire in X days. For uninterrupted access to intuit account, sign in now. Except I can't sign in. Initially there's a spinning circle in the right side but then it goes away and its just a blank white page. It also says you'll need to update your software to access your Intuit account here. I already downloaded and installed the webpatch and it makes no difference. This makes qb unuseable since the only way to close the window is to use task manager and the closes quickbooks. Whats the solution?
I can not find my invoice name sandy
Quickbooks Desktop will not let me enter a new credit card number in the "Manage Your Quickbooks Account" tap under the help tab. The customer service gibberish-speaker wants me to give her my new cards info. The reason I have a new card is the the old number was stolen. I do not want to give some rando my new card number,
