Hi Guys, Could you help, I've been away from my Quickbooks for a while, others have been using it and I see there's been several updates. One really annoying thing I've come across is when I create a new part / Material its not defaulting the VAT to 20% instead its leaving the VAT box blank, any ideas, has someone changed a setting I'm not aware of. Hi Guys, I have an odd issue, when I search stocked materials my search isn't always picking up items that I know are created and in stock, when I create a part I use a prefix to catalogue the parts manufacturer an example is KR-TENN305028511 I am assuming you should be able to search any part of this number and come up with a result?  Is there any restriction to the search facility or part number creation that might cause issue with a search? Any help really appreciated.

Recently reinstalled quick books pro 2015 and now it’s asking me to register quickbooks with a validation code. I have my license number and product number but I cannot get through to quick books to get the code

It was a ridiculously cheap Black Friday Deal so perhaps Intuit have only given me a demo version but it is difficult to say. Anyway I would like to crete my own chart of accounts but that does not seem possible from the options i see on screen. The AI assistant keeps answering the wrong questions with links to "deeplink" that don't work!

Winding up the company and the old bank accoount is no longer connected to quickbooks but I need to mark some invoices as paid.

The feed brings in the details on the full details description, but there are a lot of cards and I can't remember who is who! So it would be easier if I could just pull in transactions for card ending 1234 for example, separately to card ending 5678. I can then set the name of that account to the name of the person who holds it. But they all fall under the one credit card account number.

Got QB to do my own VAT, accountant done them up to last submission. QB saying can not connect to HMRC but has also come up with nil returns for earlier this year? dont need to do anything with these as already submitted but there is an error showing, could this be why/, the date in VAT settings keep defaulting t a date last year when we presume this needs to be date of registration which is 1973. No idea where we are going wrong?

I have difficulty accessing the Community - and Help & Support could not provide the answer.To access your own posts (and any replies), it is necessary to click on the "two-people" icon at top right of the Community Home Page (after signing in).This gives access to "My profile" and "Notifications".I use Chrome, where this icon does not appear. I even tried Chrome Incognito - still no help.Next, I tried Opera, with the same result.Lastly I tried Microsoft Edge, and, hey presto, the icon appears and I can access my posts.I don't like "Edge" - can anyone explain why this happens?

Hello - I would like to create my own expense category in SELF EMPLOYED app.  How do I do this?  I have read the function is possible in other subscriptions but cannot find for SELF EMPLOYED.  Thank you
