We use the bank feeds from American Express, Metro Bank, and TSB and none of them work since March '20. HMRC in the UK has recommended this shower of a software because it works with Making Tax Digital and exactly at the next quarter it all falls apart. Does QB contact us and tell us there is a problem? No! Do they tell the truth when you spend 60mins waiting for a callback? No. So the question is, have any of you managed to switch to another provider and transfer all your data over so you can continue as you would expect to from a global accounting software company. Any comments welcome from other small businesses in the same position.
I have been using QB self employed for the last 4 years. This year I have also subscribed to qb online as I have had to register for VAT. I have kept up the subscription for self-employed in order to do my self assessment return - just logged in and ALL MAY DATA FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS HAS GONE!!!! I have not cancelled my subscription or missed payments and I am rather worried why this should be. There are 3 transactions that have been retained that have been scanned in, thats all that is there! Is it a server error or something else - anybody else had this?
