I need quarterly payroll info for an audit. The audit says it is available on this form.
removing a employee's email from payroll settings?
Staring in Sept 2025, QB changed the way the emails look when emailing an invoice. I'm referring to the actual email, not the actual invoice. The invoice itself is fine. But, now the email will display the business owner's personal home address, it used to display the business address. How do I change it back to the business address, like it's been for the last 10 years? I don't want my personal home address on the emails. Thanks,
I have instant deposit set up, set to everyday, I have taken many payments before
I’ve been trying to g since yesterday
when adding in attachments to reconciled entries, there is always a warning about messing up the reconciliation which I always say yes to. However when I also add in the payee info, it pops up with the do you wan to prefill, to which the answer is always no, but since it looks like the other one i often inadvertently click on yes.
I contacted the bank and they advised to set the default for quickbooks as my business account. Even after that, only my personal accounts appear in the link list.
I would rather not duplicate inventory in QB if I don't have to. Can I bring in the needed financial data from the Square app without having to?
When I look at my account, I only see the QB Desktop Premier for 2021 but I am using 2024. I have to put the 2024 version on a new laptop. How do I do that? I am worried about the old date and don't know why it doesn't show the 2024 version. I have it set up to automatically update and charge me. Thanks in advance for any help.
I added a tag on something that I didn't to tag. I was wondering how I can remove that tag?
We have received calls that may be spam (although not asking for immediate payment) or may be legit and have not received followup promised material.
Need a report to show the invoice number, sales order number and purchase order number all on one report. For Example: Date Customer Invoice# Sales order# Purchase Order #
I tried to use the Give Feedback box on the Bank Transactions page. The box drops down, but too low on the screen, so the "Send" button is hidden, and I can't actually give feedback. The scroll doesn't help - the Feedback box stays in the same place. Is there a keyboard shortcut to send? I don't know if there's some trick to getting it to appear in full, but that's really beside the point. It should not be so difficult to give feedback!
We regularly record JEs to add to AP for an amount is already recorded as an expense in the system, because we're holding back the payment for some reason and need to reflect this on our balance sheet to offset the P&L. When the payment does get released, we have been putting in a reversing journal entry. This works well and manages all balances correctly. However, all of these JEs are creating Bills in the system so our Bill Pay list is huge, even though we've already made those payments. Instead of reversing journal entry, is there a way we can use Pay Bills instead?
I'm using Quickbooks Desktop Premier 2012. When I run the balance sheet for my company, it shows a negative $0.90 balance in one of my foreign A/P accounts. This is only when I run the sheet in cash basis. When I run it in accrual, every thing is fine. I believe the -$0.90 is from a combination of small rounding differences between the foreign amount and the home currency, like a penny here and there. Under account transactions, when the account is zeroed out under the foreign balance, the home currency balance shows a small difference. I think this is caused by paying multiple invoices from the same vendor, with one large check. QB just rounds up the value after it applies the exchange rate. I've tried everything but I can't get this to go away. I've tried manual journal entries, but it doesn't work. Multi currency is enabled.
I am having a recurring issue where expenses recorded on a split check are not reflected in their corresponding fund. The transaction appears logged correctly in its corresponding expense account, but it is not deducting the amount from fund balance in the Financial Position report. I have cross-referenced other checks that are deducting properly and have not found a discrepancy in the way I am entering the information. Might this have something to do with classes, or the order in which I list categories? This is not a problem when I write checks that pull from one account. Please let me know if more detail is needed.
