One of my contractor's personal banking information was changed to a different bank and account. This not only affects current payments, but the hack says we have historically paid him at this other bank. I suspect this is an internal QBO fraud situation. But I do not know how to report.
Can I get my money fast to my bank

Hello Community,we want to use the shipping manager in Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise. We have never used the Shipping Manager. Now we would like to integrate UPS.After we have accepted the terms and conditions and entered all our data, the error message appears:Oops! Something went wrong...Account registration failedPostalCode and/or CountryCode input does not match those associated with the AccountNumber [9570103 The Postalcode and the account number definitely match. We have also tried it with our second account. It doesn't work with that either.Do you have any tips for us on how we can solve this problem?Thank you very much for your help!
Hello,Three weeks ago my QB desktop pro plus 2024 started moving very slowly. It takes about 6 minutes to start up before I can do anything at all in it. Certain actions (like hitting F2 for product information, or sending paystubs by email, etc.) will take many minutes to happen. Or they take so long that I have to force quit to start over.I've called support three times, each time after I was unable to end paystubs. The first time I was told I didn't have enough storage or enough ram. Without making any changes, I tried sending the emails again and they sent. I cleaned up my computer and created 25G of storage, then I bought and installed 48G of RAM.This didn't fix the performance issues. I called again when my emailed pay stubs wouldn't send the next week. I told him about my previous call and the fixes I had made. I let him know I was also still having performance issues. I was told there was an incorrect setting in my network settings and that he had fixed the problem an
I can't find this answer today... After September 30, if I need to expand and hire a new bookkeeper, can I add another seat to my existing subscription? I'm not sure how that works. I'm a small office CPA with a number of small clients on QB Desktop. Others give us records to do writeup for them and we use Desktop for that. Obviously, it would not make economic sense to switch to Online when I can use a desktop a subscription for all my client needs.I deleted a longer rant but, I was hoping QB would raise prices and keep the best accounting product on the market.
My July revenue increased by $2.52 after filing the monthly taxes. Trying to understand how that happened.
I stupidly signed up for QB online a few months ago thanks to the flashing red alarm signal saying my desktop version would no longer be supported. When I signed up, there was something that said that I could make my online view look just like my desktop view to make things easier. This week I finally had the time to convert my data and get online, and I can't find any reference to how to use that desktop view plug in or extension or whatever it was. Help? I hate this online version. Everything I loved about the desktop version has been eliminated from this online version. Everything takes more time. And finding things in the menus is impossible. If I can't figure out how to get that desktop view, I'm cancelling and going back to my non-supported desktop software, risks be damned. =/
Some details: this customers payments have worked for about two years now. The customer uses Ariba for their billing system and forces me to work with Paymode in order to receive an ACH payment. This customer also discounts payments made within ten days by 2% at their option. I can see the bank transaction coming into my bank account from paymode. But QB refuses to let me assign this payment with discount to the correct invoice. In the past this worked fine. Now it is insisting I provide it with the bank account and routing number for Paymode. How could I possibly know this and who would tell me this information? I can't seem to override some security thing and I don't understand why this used to work. Thanks to anyone that might be able to help me through how to get this deposit to register in QB. This is a ridiculous problem-- I should know if I've been paid or not!
I am trying to set up scheduled reports for a company, one which accesses the company file in multi-user mode at random hours of the day. Everything I'm reading seems to indicate that scheduled reports cannot be sent from the company file while it's in multi-user mode. If I set up the reports while the file is in single-user mode, will they still work in multi-user mode? I tried doing some testing, but cannot find a good work around. If anyone could either give me a firm yes or no, or give me some insight into things I can try, I would appreciate it.Just to clarify: The entire company uses one company file, there are no single-user files.
Accounts are already linked and recurring transactions set up. Trying to view an existing transaction brings up this new screen. Looking to "link accounts" or "upload transactions". Why cannot I not just view an existing transaction as I could in the past?
It seems like QB online does not have as much customization as QBDT, so I created a custom estimate template in quickbooks desktop and I would like to import it into quickbooks online. Is this possible and how do you do it?
I have a home office where 100% of my income is earned in this home office. I’ve been splitting utilities such as the electric, gas, phone, ISP, and ADT Alarm by a percentage. The percentage I count toward my home office is the square footage of my home office divided by the square footage of my home (times 100). I don’t believe there’s an automatic way to do this in QuickBooks Online - but it doesn’t hurt to ask. At the moment I’m manually splitting every instance of all shared utilities associated with my home office. I use an Excel spreadsheet to calculate the dollar amount. As an example of how I’m splitting the cost of utilities goes like this: In bank transactions I select “Pending”I click on a given payment sent to a given utilityI click “split”Using the drop down I enter the categories (two categories)Using an Excel spreadsheet I enter the dollar amount. I programed an Excel to split the payments by percentage.I enter in each amount that Excel calculated for
I can't see how to easily switch between a report and other areas of Quickbooks as you can in the desktop version. Can someone please help me.
Hi there! My QBD file has 25 years of data on it and each year our company gets bigger and does more work. It is at the point where running reports takes forever! What can we do to speed things up?For context, our file exists on a desktop computer, not a server, that gets used by one of our employees. We have 7 people in the file daily, 128 employees on the payroll, and do 20 million dollars in work each year. Can someone please point me in a direction to help us save some time! Thanks!!
Hi all! We are remotely hosted on Right Networks. The last few years we bought QuickBooks each and every year. I was just wondering if maybe we could save some money this year and not have to pay for QuickBooks24. I thought I read that Quickbooks is supported on the remote hosting up to three years in the past. It seems like we are at a pretty good spot where quickbooks has everything(ish) we need, and the new updates for 2024 don't seem to have anything that is a game changer. Sooo...... my question is Do we need to upgrade to QB24 with remote hosting or can we keep our remote hosting with QB23?
I don't want to buy a compliance product if I don't need to.
How do I delete my current auto-pay credit card for my account and enter a new card number?
I have 3 related transactions that I am trying to figure out how best to account for. The first transaction is a sales receipt for an order from my website (the Wix platform) that was paid, matched to a deposit in my bank, and reconciled. That customer ultimately requested a refund, but the way it was issued by Wix is causing me problems. The proceeds from another sale in Wix was used to partially cover the refund of the first order and the difference was covered with a charge to my credit card. Now I have 3 transactions in Quickbooks:The original sales receipt that was paid, matched, and reconciled, but now needs a refund recorded in QuickbooksA sales receipt that is currently not matched to anything that was used to partially pay the refund in WixA credit card transaction that reflects the balance of the refund. I'm trying to figure out the best way to record this to make sure the refund is recorded correctly, that the sales receipt and credit card transaction that were use

We are a 501C3 tax exempt organization. QBO is charging us tax on their invoice. How can I get that removed?
my Quickbooks Balance in my Chart of Accounts does not show up for each category. Some categories do show a balance or $0.00, but not all. When I click on view register or run report I am able to see the list, but the balance does not show in the Quickbooks Balance column. I have confirmed in settings that Quickbook Balance is turned on. For instance, I know that I have "insurance" category expenses entered, however there is not amount showing in the Quickbooks Balance column showing up. If I click on the associated Run Report button, I can see the transactions. I would like to be able to glance at my Quickbooks Balance column and see all balances.
