I updated my QB for the church I work for this morning and now I cannot find it anywhere on my computer! When I try to open it from my desktop icon all I get is "The application QuickBooks 2021 can't be opened" I cannot find QB in my Applications anywhere. What happened?!? I have been a QB user for over 10 years and I am completely stumped as to what happened
A few months ago, I recorded a number of deposits from QuickBooks Payments as deposits to my checking account and credited sales revenue. I now see that many of them are listed in my Undeposited Funds Account. I'm concerned that if I create deposits in QBO to clear the UF account, I will be duplicating items in my checking account register. What can I do to clear out these UF account lines? Thank you!
Also, My Customer name is not on invoice anymore. I have to cut and paste on most every invoice. It was working really well and recently there has been a change.
The math if off somewhere in QB. I've called several times and even with a custom % rate at the end of the month the calculation is still wrong!
I've noticed that when I apply a deposit to an invoice that the customer is not able to choose to pay it online via ACH for the $25 convenience fee because the invoice is partially paid, even when the "customer pays the fee" setting is turned on in the settings. Has anyone figured out a work around for this? We are in the construction industry and most of our projects have deposits. The $25 convenience fee would be less for our customers in most instances than turning on the business pays the fee function and adding on a 1% fee as a separate line item.

I have expenses that auto-populate in QBO as being paid by check, but they are actually paid by check card (Debit card). I would like to change these to show up as expense rather than check under type, but cannot find a way to do so. Would appreciate any help or insight here!
Hi. Let me start by saying that I am not an accountant....at all. I am trying to figure out how to run a report or see a summary of OPEN sales orders for the remainder of the month (sales orders that are due to ship this month, for example). Basically, I want to have an idea of where we will finish the month in sales. I can easily see what our sales are for the previous days, weeks, months, etc., but I can't figure out how to see the same type of report for open/pending sales orders. NOTE: I am running QB Enterprise Desktop Manufacturing and Wholesale 24.0.
How do I run a payroll summary by customer/subcustomer in QBO? I need to be able to see the total wages to each job (customer/subcustomer) each month for accrued payroll entries. I found a report "Time Activities by Employee" that has the employee, job and hours, which is great, but no rate or amount. I can see in each employees detail they have a set hourly rate, but it is not pulling into this report. Is that because it needs to be set up somewhere in "Time"? I don't currently have my jobs set up as projects, they are just customer/subcustomer. Would setting up as projects give me the report I'm looking for? Would setting up as projects give me better reporting or any real advantages over customer/subcustomer setup? I just hesitate to start converting current jobs to projects and create a mess.

Glitch with inventory. Have been using PO system successfully since January. When partial shipment delivered I add bill and add open PO, correct quantities with no problem. Now inventory in stock with some items is incorrect. Inventory on PO is incorrect. Cleared cache, signed out, rebooted computer, tried on mobile device, tried on app. Finally deleted all invoices and purchase orders created in the last two weeks. The number of items on purchase orders INCREASED instead of decreased. Re-entered a PO/Bill with just one item on it and it increased in po qty AGAIN and now has me as a (-2) for the item I just ADDED into inventory. Like QB's is calculating backwards. Sending Screen shot to show example of what appears on the inventory list and when you click "edit" it shows the correct qty.
Hi everyone, I’m dealing with a couple of really frustrating issues in QuickBooks Online and wanted to see if anyone else has run into these or maybe even found a solution. First, whenever I click the “More Actions” dropdown menu on an invoice, it opens for a split second and then immediately closes itself. I have to click it a second time to get it to stay open. This happens every single time and makes it super annoying to do tasks like creating shipping labels. Second, once I’m in the shipping label creation page (accessed through the “More Actions” dropdown), the dropdown bar stays stuck open and captures key inputs like Tab, Enter, or Spacebar. This means that instead of tabbing through the fields in the shipping label form, my key presses are just interacting with the dropdown menu. I can export a Profit and Loss by Customer into excel, but am only able to see the details of each COGS line item by clicking into it. I want all of this detail to export to excel.
