QuickBooks Q&A (UK)

Why has the whole layout and interface changed on my QB ?? It’s horrendous!! So difficult to navigate. The older version could be annoying as it is basically American and certain aspects just don’t translate into the UK way of things but the new version is terrible. Is there a way I can use the older version still ? Otherwise I will have to cancel QB and find another alternative

I used QuickBooks tool hub to fix error 3371x. I am currently experiencing difficulty re-activating QuickBooks, I either receive 'Navigation to the webpage was canceled' when trying the 'open and restore company'.   How do I reactivate and restore my company information. I still have my perpetual license I purchased back in march 2020. I do not have access to the agent who helped me with the purchase. I have also attached a picture of the reactivation report which requires a validation code. How do I get around this.   I need help.    [removed]

HelloI have just done a full reconciliation of my accounts. I have checked the bank account matches all statements since I started using Qbks and they match. I have checked that all posted values match the bank statements, they do. I have nothing to review and nothing excluded, however the bank account balance and the Posted in qbks values are some £900 apart, how is this possible?ThanksVernon

When adding the company address, QB insists on me choosing a county from it's list, even if the address is a London address (yes, London is listed as a county on QB) The county is shown on sales invoices as just 2 letters, which makes us look unprofessional and incompetent - if we can't even get our own address correct, what impression does that give our customers ? QB advisors have said that there is nothing I can do to change this so am wondering if anyone's found a work around ?

I mistakenly posted several months worth of transactions from our old business bank account thinking it would help carry out our self assessment for 24-25. I am now unable to "uncategorise" them. I am seeking advice from the financial professional that helps us also, to see if we can adjust the difference out..

Got a new phone and now there isn’t an option to add payments from my invoices

Since yesterday the option in my Invoices to record payments has disappeared. I use the QB sole trader app on my iPhone and not been notified of any such change

Also can’t click “ Save” button to add account info i.e Business / Personal / Mixed on an Iphone App

I run several small businesses in the UK including a micro entity Ltd company. I received a notification that the online accounts and company tax return service is closing on 31 March 2026 and I must find an alternative method for filing my accounts etc once that happens.
