I’m using QuickBooks Online for my business. Earlier in 2025, I mistakenly categorized personal credit card expenses (from a personal card) as business expenses, so they are now appearing on my business Profit & Loss. Important details: • The credit card was personal, not a business card • The card has since been unlinked from QuickBooks • The expenses are real transactions but should not be on the business P&L • I want them reflected as owner/shareholder activity (equity), not expenses • Deleting or excluding transactions is not an option (I want to preserve audit trail) What is the correct QuickBooks-approved way to remove these personal expenses from the P&L and reclassify them to Equity (Shareholder Distributions) now that the card is no longer linked? Is a summary journal entry the proper solution in this case, or is there another recommended method?
I noticed an omission on 3 employees on their w2 and it is too late to correct via simple edit. What steps do I need to have QB provide a W2C?
how to downgrad from pro to simple start
I want to provide the qualified OT for my employees for 2025. Will I be able to edit the W2 before I print them out?

I recently switch over to a Mac. I installed Parallels, Windows 11, then installed QBDT 2023 & 2024. Everything has been running smoothly for months. I last was able to access the QBDT files on Friday 11/07/25. On Monday 11/10/25 I could not. Monday I could not open a clients file, thought nothing of it and worked on something else. Tuesday I tried to open multiple client files with no success. It hangs and hangs. I have uninstalled - reinstalled QBDT, Windows 11. I have ran the QB file doctor, fix my file, everything, even tried running as administrator, still nothing. Today Thursday 11/13/25 I did open 1 client file. Once closed, could not reopen it. Help! This is beyond frustrating.
I am a small non profit with about $50K a year in turnover. I use Quickbooks Online. My bookkeeping volunteer has accidentally created havoc and I think I need to start my Quickbooks Online account from scratch all over again. Is there a relatively straightforward way to do this without paying for two accounts during the transition time. Also, I have a discounted annual payment through Techsoup and I would loke to keep the discounted rate.
I am having severe difficulty reaching someone to speak to regarding a problem at Green Dot Bank. I have tried: 1. the telephone number on the back of the Green Dot Card - The answering system asks me to enter the card number, but when I do, it does not "recognize" the card.2. I have tried emailing them and got a response - that they would call me back in a business day. They called but when I took the call, it was dropped. This has happened twice. The are indicating that I am the one dropping the call. I assure you that I need to speak to them and would not drop the call.3. A supervisor was supposed to call me within 48 hours and I have not received a call after 4 days.4. I just tried calling the supervisor's telephone number and the voicemail indicated they were not available. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
I don't want to pull in data prior to a certain date.
Why did QB change it and make it so you can not edit details? I made an entry error and now can not edit it so it will screw up my reports. Has got to be one of the dumbest decisions for them to do
2025 W-2's health insurance information, not saving. Do you have to do something before you hit submit?
someone in quickbooks needs to familiarize with Secure Act 2.0 and the allowable for simple IRA max contributions
