I am trying to finish the online payroll set up by entering the tax amounts for the first three quarters. I am getting an error message saying the numbers do not match. The numbers/Dollar amounts I am entering are directly off the payroll summaries for each quarter. The calculated number is off in each of the three categories. How can I fix this?

I need a way to be able to scan a barcode that will allow me to add or decrease inventory quantity to an existing inventory item. For example. "I have SKU#123 in the system showing quantity of 10, I scan a barcode assigned to that SKU and add 10 more making the total quantity 20 and have that reflect on my QuickBooks inventory account.
Hello QB community, I've been wracking my brain trying to get this figured out in QB enterprise. We currently purchase an "assembly/kit" from a manufacturer that we "disassemble" in house and send off a portion of the assembly to have modifications done. Once the modified item component(s) return(s), we reassemble it as a new item assembly for resale. There are a few issues that I'm having trying to get this setup how we need it.The initial assembly/kit purchased consists of sub assemblies A and B (B is sent out for modifications) and sub assembly A has sub-sub assemblies of C, D, E, F, and G. The modified assembly B has a charge associated with the modifying.We need to have an accurate pick list of the components of the various assemblies/kits for intake and for export of not only the component(s) to be modified but also for the export of the finished item assembly/kitWe are charged for the initial assembly on the whole so grouping would not get a correct COG
We migrated from QB Desktop Enterprise to QB Online on July 1st. All of our inventory got pulled over to starting inventory values dated 6/30/25, which has caused a few issues but one very major one. We've noticed our Inventory account has gone increasingly negative and we've had Bills for Inventory items showing up in COGS, which is causing double expenses to our COGS. We've found the issue by looking at the Audit History for various bills. Bills with inventory items that are dated AFTER 6/30/25 are entering the system correctly - They increase Inventory Assets and Accounts Payable accounts, and are not expensed to COGS until a Sales Receipt or Invoice is completed. This is correct. However, any bills dated PRIOR to 6/30/25, if they are modified in any way (paid, closed, a memo/description is modified) and the bill is re-saved, QBO is automatically changing the account from Inventories to COGS. I believe this is happening because according to Quickbooks Online, our Inventory
I think I found a significant bug with Purchase Orders in QBO. Can anyone replicate this?1) Create Purchase Order with Vendor "ABC" using Non-Inventory Item for $1,0002) Go to Bills and Select Vendor "ABC" - QBO automatically brings up the Open Purchase Order3) Select the Open Purchase Order and QBO automatically loads the correct Item in the Bill and links the PO4) Change the Amount in the Bill (partial fulfillment) to $750. 5) QBO automatically closes the PO even though $250 remains outstanding on the PO.6) I have tried every setting and change and this happens every time.Please help! This seems like a MAJOR bug - can't believe the system just closes out Open PO's.
Why is the filters constantly moving?! Why can I remove filters I do not need? Before I could remove the unneeded filters for searches. Now it looks like I can remove them, I can only move them around?! This is so annoying!! Can this company PLEASE stop messing with things that were working JUST FINE!!! !!!!!

We have a vendor contract (non-inventory) and want to track the remaining budget for a project in QuickBooks Online. Can this be managed using a Purchase Order to track costs against subsequent vendor invoices, or is an upgrade for the Projects feature necessary for this functionality?
Hello! I have more than one problem...First, I somehow have FOUR Federal withholding lines for September's IRS USA payments rather than TWO as in every previous months (two employees). How do I delete all but the two I need?? (Marked as yellow in pic)Second, my QB IL unemployment insurance amounts do not match what my accountant paid to the state in quarter one & two of this calendar year. How do I reconcile these discrepancies? They took their numbers directly from my QB payroll reports. (most recent quarter marked in red in pic) Quarter three looks to be right on point.Thank you for any suggestions.

In Custom Reports, when I select Create New Report, and then select Expenses, I cannot setup a filter by Class - it's greyed out. I need to be able to filter expenses by class. Is there a workaround or a fix coming?

New York State released the updated specifications months ago, yet the form is still unavailable in QuickBooks.This delay is impacting my ability to file timely and accurately. I’ve already filed manually and have confirmation, but I rely on QuickBooks for compliance and recordkeeping.Can you confirm when the updated form will be available? If NYS has provided the specs, what’s causing the delay? Please escalate this to your tax compliance team.A manual workaround or export template would be appreciated in the meantime.
I use QBSE and will be closing my business down sometime before year end 2025. How do I retain critical information for future use and/or referral should the need arise. I don't want to incur the continuing monthly QBSE charge for a business that has been closed. Thanks in advance.
