Here is an example - I signed in at 11:16 am, I created an invoice at 11: 26 am and I continued adding to that invoice over time. I got kicked out at approximately 2:16 pm even though I was active within Quickbooks after I created the invoice at 11:26 am. Why is that happening? I lost the work I'd done on the invoice - and yes, I should have been saving as I go, lesson learned - but why, when I was actively using QB online - did it sign me out?

New layout

I've just completed the quickbooks proadvisor training, i've tried clearing my browser cache, changing to a different browser, nothing works. I am using QBO on a brand new, up to date, 2025 Macbook. I added my clients - everything I see online says that they should receive an email to create a password - but they have not. I see no other help for this issue. They have not added a subscription yet but my understanding is that I can still start their books. However I have no access. I've tried looking into them inviting me as their accountant but they dont have a quickbooks account yet, so they can't, right? I'm planning on adding one as a Ledger account very soon, but i'm unsure about quickbooks online already now with all the issues i've been having already, it hasn't been smooth. I also can't find anything out there with others having the same issue. On another note, I've changed to the newest version - but its not showing the way it's supposed to, it looks the same as the old version
