I need to find out how to include invoices AND sales receipts on the statements for customers. I've already used the "transactions report", but that doesn't show any information regarding a customer's open/remaining balance. We have customers that pay at time of service, as well as send payment afterward. We use both kinds of transactions, so we need the statement or report with both invoice & sales receipt as well as including any amount open/remaining.
I am having trouble with the 1099 mapping window. It will not let me choose the correct box. See attached screen shots: one with my bug and one showing how it should look. I have installed all updates. Anyone else having this issue?
I set up a bank subaccount to record the use of loan proceeds and reclassified the deposited funds to the subaccount. The initial transaction had already been reconciled, but I thought that wouldn't matter, since the subaccount is connected to the parent account. It looks like I was wrong. The reclass threw my reconciliation off. How do I correct this, and can you tell me how to ensure that the subaccount will be tied to the parent account for future reconciliations?
I am so frustrated with this new shipping manager I dont know where to begin. I am willing to learn and try to figure it out and even shipped my first package with it today but it is still not working right. After over 3 hours with 2 calls to quickbooks support I got nowhere as usual. They dont have a clue about how it works. She even told me to call shipstation, which I tried to do today but you cant get any support from them unless you have an account, so I set up an account with them to try to get support and guess what, they dont have a clue about this integration either. I have been using the old shipping manager for over 25 years and can do a shipment in about 15 seconds. Can someone at quickbooks at least tell me why we dont have the option of using your old shipping manager. It worked just fine. If we are forced to use this new one at least please have some support help with it. I will live with the fact that I have to manually remove the dashes in the phone numbers. I will pro
I do this every single day but today QB will not copy a sales invoice I have selected
For FIVE years: I have been my company's QB admin. Prior to that, someone else worked for me. For FIVE years, I have been calling QB Customer Service, trying to remove that former employee. EVERY time, for FIVE years, they have assured me that her name is removed and I am the admin. But her name constantly came up, which is why I kept calling QB customer service. HOWEVER, QB now wants me to update my credit card information. But I cannot, because the first screen it takes me to still shows the former employee's name. After FIVE years of trying to fix this. Now QB says I have until March 24, 2024 to update my credit card information or be locked out of my QB. Did I mention it's been FIVE years? 😉 Please, please help me. Thanks in advance.
I just discovered that QB had not charged my customers county sales tax this year, just state tax. I ended up having to pay the county tax out of my pocket. When I try to add agency, there are NO Wisconsin counties in the drop down list. Why?? I swear it calculated the taxes correctly in previous years. Do I have to add every one manually??

The statements emphasize invoice numbers and the CPT service codes and dates-of-service are hard to decipher.
Hi there,We want to make our reports more concise by deleting existing Job Types from our Job Type List. However, we have information coded under the categories we want to delete. What happens to the data if you delete the Job Type? Is there a way to make inactive instead of deleting? Thank you,Jenna
URGENT HELP NEEDED: with Voided Transaction I voided 2 quickbooks transactions in error, and it has triggered a refund to the client. How do I intercept this, and correct it in the system.
I created - and accidently saved, a "practice" W-2 that I used as a before and after reference when I was adjusting an employee's gross wages. Now it, along with a W-3 with just this one W-2, is showing as a saved PDF under Save Filings in Tax Filing History. I did NOT hit the Submit button just the Save and Close button. Can I delete that W-2 or will it be automatically REPLACED with another one when I create the whole batch for all the employees? I just don't want to double file that employee's W-2.
Are there any QB 2019 or newer for desktop on the market?
I want to edit the fields that are displayed on each customer "landing" page. The default info displays email, phone, billing address, shipping address, notes, and a spot for custom fields. I have created a custom field under "Customer" and I don't need this to be displayed on any forms. When I click on the pencil icon to add a custom field to this section there is a message that says "No custom fields left to add". I do see the custom field is generated at the bottom of the page when I choose to edit the customer. However I also want this to display in the "landing" page for the customer next to all of the above fields. How is this achieved?
We are using QB Enterprise 24.0 Enterprise version. I am trying to condense company file hold data as old as 2020. When i verify and rebuild, i keep getting five errors. I am hiding number behind **** for security purposes. I have posted one below as example.Error: Verify ToC: Verify has failed due to an error under Transfer of Credits, related to the following transactions: GJE # 27, GJE # , Receipt # ****v 5.8, Invoice # . Ensure that all entries are rectified before proceeding for Rebuild.I have tried deleting JE 27 and still had same error. I tried removing payment which is the receipt and tried deleting it but it came back again. I am not sure what am i missing. I tried to look for rules but don't see anything there either. These are listed under year 2020 and books are closed. We are looking to condense up to 2024.Does anyone has any tips or tricks to fix or bypass these?
Hello, I am processing W2/W3 forms and noticed that the tips are not showing in box 7 of the w2. I know how to correct this but I have already sent the e-file of the W2/W3 forms to the IRS. With that, do I now need to run W2c (W3c)? I haven't mailed out the W2 to any staff yet, just sent to the IRS (not a smart move). Also, do I need to run "corrected" 941s for each qu
Is there a daily or weekly limit on how much can be accepted through quickbooks payments
I along with over 50 over my other friends hate the way QB is going. Is there and alternative to the non cloud based quicbooks pro? No intuit?
When I try to file form 940, I receive the message "We can't sent this filing yet. You have an unresolved overpayment between 1/1/25 and 12/31/25. Before you print and save form 940, please resolve your overpayment." However, I do not have an overpayment as per preview of form 940. Balance due in box #14 is blank. But the system thinks there is an overpayment of 940 tax somewhere. How to resolve this?
I'm not sure if this is something the community can help with, but Quickbooks support isn't giving me an option to chat or call. I've done some contracting work with a client. They use QuickBooks self-employed to deliver 1099s. I received an email stating that I had a 1099 to view. I've clicked that link several times on several browsers. It leads me to sign in to Intuit, and then shows me a blank page with no information. It says Client List and nothing else. I need this 1099 for my taxes (it's self-employment income, so I owe taxes on it!) so if anyone has any suggestions to fix this it would be very appreciated!
