I have been QBO now for over two years. I used to charge my clients via QBO and QBO used to charge me 1% of all ACH transactions. however, as I grew they became expensive so I moved to another vendor for payment. Now after 6 months, I came back to QBO for charging payments to my customers because some kind of promotion going on where ACH processing fee is 0%. Now the problem I am facing is my customers are able to pay them but I am unable to charge myself. Like I have the bank account, I have put in all the details and it says bank incorrect or security concerns. Tried with all my customers and facing the same issue. I tried to talk to customer rep but nobody is able to help me. Can’t even open support ticket. I am really disappointed at QBO customer support, they really can’t help you. They don’t even know that ACH 0% promotion exists. This should be nightmare for QBO to provide such kind of customer service. Nobody is willing to help me out.
Hello Community, I have HP Officejet printers, My 8610 broke and I purchased a 8028. Printing partial checks with the 8610 was awesome and easy to use, put the check in just like a regular sheet of paper. Now with the new one, I have a 8028 and can not figure out how to get partial checks, two on a page or a single check to print. Do any of you use HP printers, (Fax, Scan, and Print) and recommend one that is easy to use for printing checks with quickbooks. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!!!
All of a sudden Quickbooks online is filled with pop up ads for other quickbooks products that require me to click it off my screen to continue or see the entire screen. This slows me down when trying to flip between screens, reports and entries which defeats the point of having software to make processes more efficient. Surely there's got to be a way to turn this annoying and time consuming advertising off.
I am still using QBD Prem 2020I have something odd happening with my sales tax calculation.I enter a sales receipt, the first 4 items are taxable but a discount has been applied. I enter the gross price and set the tax flag. The next 4 items are non taxable but again a discount has been applied. Again I enter the gross amount with the non-tax flag.At the end I wanted to enter the discount for the first four items with the tax flag set. That calculates the wrong tax amount. However, if I enter the taxable discount right after the 4th item, the sales tax is calculated correctly.I don't understand why it should matter where I enter the taxable discount after the tax items are the same. What am I overlooking?I have attached 2 screen shots as reference. The total tax amount is $2.13 with total sales receipt amount $76.16
I would like to have an employee write checks without being able to see the bank balance or bank register. I have not figured out how to set this up. Thank you
Hello - We purchase product from a European vendor. I am noticing in QB online there are a ton of FX gain/loss entries automatically booked when we post a bill from that vendor. However, an FX gain/loss should not arise until we pay that bill. But, the gain/loss on FX is posting while the bill is still sitting as AP The fx gain/loss entries which are showing up are always +0.01/-0.01 cents. This doesnt make sense and is allowing for messy report generation.Anyone ever seen this before?
Hi, I would appreciate some advice on an accounting issue we have with our US$ company. We received intercompany invoices in Euros from our EU Parent company in the year 2020 and booked them at the fx rate to US$ at that point in time. The invoices are still unpaid today and we have recorded unrealized gains/losses at year end 2022.Our EU parent company has now signed a loan agreement with us, in Euros, to the value of those open items. The loan agreement specifies, that this is specifically for the purpose of clearing those open Euro invoice. No cash has been disbursed with this loan and we need to record an intercompany loan in the balance sheet.Question: How can I clear those old Euro invoices against a loan account AND at the same time record a realised fx gain/ loss? When I try to make a vendor payment, Quickbooks is looking for a bank account. I have tried creating "transit" accounts under Current Assets but this also does not work. And if I try to book via a journal entry, I have

Hello - I'm trying to get a report in Quickbooks Desktop enterprise that shows customer payments AND the customers payment terms. We are manufacturing and need to communicate to our shipping team that payments have been made for customers that have been on hold until payment is received. I've created a report that shows the terms field but it does not carry over the terms for the customer. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hello - I have a need to share certain memorized/custom reports with my production team without sharing the entire reports portal. We need them to see some reports without accessing P&L's and other financial data. We recently migrated over from Desktop to Online. Thanks in advance.
We were pushed into Quickbooks online so the president could view from his computer. It is way more problematical than Quickbooks desktop 2018. Also I still use Quicker 2015 for my rental property and it works better than the current 2024 version of Quickbooks online. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE DISCRASE THAT WE CAN'T SET UP A VENDOR AND HAVE OUR ACCOUNT NUMBER AUTOMATICALLY PRINTER ON THE CHECK. tHE LACK OF THIS ONE FEATURE PUTS quickbooks 2024 at 10 to 15 YEARS OUT OF DATE. Shame on Intuit. Richard
My column widths changed on my journal entry screen. How do I adjust the width of columns on the journal entry screen?
I am getting this message for one particular vendor. It is not a case of reaching my monthly limit of payments as I am able to pay other vendors in amounts greater than the amount of the vendor for which I am getting the error message. Just wondering if anyone else has been having this issue.
Hi All,I can kill a running process (program) in both Linux and Windows from the command line. It cuts the legs off the running process and is anything but graceful. In Linux, I can set a "SIGHUP" and depending on how the programs is written and reacts to it, the program will shutdown gracefully. Unfortunately, QB is not written for Linux. Is there a way in Windows to send an external command from the command line to a running QB Desktop to ask it to gracefully shutdown? Many thanks,-T
I told the rep from Quickbooks that we no longer use Desktop and now use QBO but she insisted the license fee was still required and unrelated to the software used.
The Clair On-Demand Pay ad on the mobile app takes over about 3/4 of the screen making it very hard to see time entries on the timesheet page. Is there any way to get rid of it? Quickbooks tech support won't help.
I'm trying to respond by saying Thank You to the QB representative who provided a quality answer to my Community Post but every time I sign in using my credentials to respond, I get this error message: “Authentication Ticket Mismatched, failed authentication.”
But there is nothing on my quickbooks saying so. What do I do?
Is there a way to transfer employee information from one quickbooks account to another. Ex. I use Quickbooks for time sheets and payroll, in business account A.Is there a way to move all employee contact information from business A to Business B without having to make everyone reregister themselves? I'm not expecting any historical data to transfer, just a clean data migration of employee profiles. Then new records will be stored in Business B going forward.
