Hi.Anyone know the phone number to contact UK Customer Services? Trying to reregister 2016 Desktop version as need access to old company file. Unfortunately, it appears as no longer supported the online registration doesn't work. I have gone through all the help pages, installed and run the ToolsHub. When I go to the help menu and the Need to get in touch either by Phone or Message they are both greyed out and wont work. I have spent hours try to get this to work and until I can get passed this registration the software is redundant including using to access help. Cheers

I signed up to Simple Start in April on the 90% off deal. I paid for an annual subscription and set up a direct debit with the next payment due April 2027.2 weeks later on May 12 I was billed a monthly direct debit by Quickbooks of 20.00. I cancelled this duplicate direct debit and informed Quickbooks that I had done so via live chat and asked for a refund in the duplicate charge. I was told that I would receive a form for a refund request via email. I have not received this. Today Quickbooks emailed me to say they had cancelled my subscription and have removed access to my account. So I’ve paid an annual and monthly subscription (that was not set upor approved by me, so who knows how that has transpired). And I still don’t have a functioning Quickbooks account. I can’t get an answer from Quickbooks. The live chat just dropped off after 2 hours of waiting 10-15 minutes between responses with no usual offer of resolution.How do I get a response from Quickbooks to resolve

Do I need to create an invoice to match the amount? It's only £14

  Retention (holding back 5–10% until the job is signed off) is standard practice in construction contracts, but QBO doesn't have a built-in retention feature. That means most of us have had to figure out our own workaround. We'd love to hear how you manage it:- Do you use a separate 'Retention Receivable/Payable' account?- Do you adjust invoices or use credit notes?- How do you make sure the retention shows clearly on your balance sheet? If you've cracked it, please share your setup — it would help a lot of people in the same boat!

My auto payroll says "You can’t run payroll for this pay date because it’s not in your active tax year. Update your active tax year in Payroll settings to run payroll." However, I have updated it to this UK tax year and it still says the same.
