We are having issues with our invoices not delivering. It's not new clients that we are having trouble contacting and it's not consistently the same client. All address are correct but are still getting kicked back as delivery issues. We also get the copied email saying the invoice was sent. Anyone else ever have this issue?

We have hardware we are buying from a vendor and they are requesting a 50% deposit before they ship the items. However, normally our process is Create purchase order>order items>receive items and record received in Quickbooks>Enter Bill Against Received Items. We can only do that process once we have physically received the items. Since they want to hold the items until we pay a deposit, and we have already created a PO, how do we move forward on paying this in Quickbooks? If I were to enter the bill and select the PO and connect the two despite not being received, I still run into the issue of have to change the line item prices on the PO to match only 50% of the order. And we don't want to change the line item prices on the PO because that tracks for our inventory. What would be the Quickbooks protocol for this?

Hello! We use the expenses email address to forward contractor invoices and reimbursement request forms. It works well with contractor invoices but not with the reimbursement forms (both contain the same info). We keep getting this error (see attached), any ideas how to solve this? Forwarding to the expense email address works very well for our workflows. As far as I can see we follow all requirements for QB to process the file.  Thanks in advance!

I’m having problems with liquidity because of it

Monthly "recurring payments" created for several customers are not getting created on the Quickbooks side.  It worked the first month but not the following two.  The payments ARE being taken in Intuit Merchant Services center and deposited in our bank--but Quickbooks Online Advanced is not creating the invoice the payments are to apply to (other than the first month/occurrence), and so the payments don't sync over to our books from Intuit Merchant Services, which causes the deposit containing those payments to not sync into our books, and I have to manually enter them all.  Anyone else experiencing this? (note these are recurring PAYMENTS, not recurring Transactions.  Those seem to be working.) 

Very simple business, I invoice customers for services with monthly payments setup as NET60. Customers deposit via ACH transactions directly to my business bank account. My accounts are not linked to QB anymore as they were asking to relink multiple times a day. With this being said, I generate Invoices for the appropriate customer, due date & amount and enter them in the system. When the ACH transfer is made, I click "Receive Payment" and "Deposit To" as "Checking".  However, on my bank register, it logs the item as an Invoice with a "-" amount and then logs it as a "+" deposit from accounts receivable. Resulting in a $0 bank balance. When I receive payment to "Undeposited Funds" it does the same thing. Reading all the forums, I have not found anything to fix this as all the "Solved" cases are for the desktop version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  

I wrote off an invoice for a customer as bad debt a couple years ago. They actually paid the invoice recently, so I need to figure out how to un-write-it-off without screwing up my past years. How do I do that?

Is anyone else having issues with your deposit request disappearing from the estimates? My customers can’t pay a deposit from the estimates anymore.  

Hello, We've tested the payment links feature and unfortunately it doesn't work the way we expected it to be. We have an invoice for a specific customer, but we used the payment link feature. The customer paid through the Payment Link, now here comes the two problems:  First is, it has been paid more than a month ago, now every user has no idea where the money is deposited, not in the Unapplied, nor credit. (but let's not focus on this problem)Second one is, we have an open invoice to that customer and it's still unpaid, but it's already paid, from the Payment Link, So it's not matched into the invoice, so we're stucked between deleting the invoice or the generated sales receipt from the payment link, else it would cause duplicate transaction. What would be the cleanest and safest way? I understand QuickBooks Payment Links isn't designed for our current workflow. Hello, I need help in figuring out how to fix my bank balance in quickbooks desktop. Amex bill was overpaid in March, in order to do my bank I posted  the overpayment as Amex overpayment temporary asset. I did Match bank rec, April Amex bill came in and I posted  a vendor credit and paid the bill. Now April bank balance is overstated by the overpayment of five thousand dollars. ‘I undid March bank rec which is now overstated  by five thousand dollars in  the bank. The balance sheet shows five thousand dollars is still recorded s a temporary current asset.

I have started using recurring payments under "sales and get paid".  When i had only one recurring payment coming in on a given day it would automatically match the amount to my recurring payment.  I added a second recurring payment that hits my account by ACH on the same day.  When the deposit hit my bank it combined both payments into one deposit.  When I try to match to invoices it does not show my recurring payments in the invoice list, just "normal" outstanding invoices for my customers.   Any thoughts on how do I reconcile this single deposit to multiple recurring payments?

In the old QBO, I was able to add blank lines in between different service items as a way to separate the sections of work we completed.  If I import transactions into the invoice try to rearrange them and add blank lines, it looks fine on the screen but when I print it, the imported transactions always rise to the top of the invoice and they won't show the empty lines.  In addition, I use the top line of the invoice to put a note about the work that was done and dates of service.  That line gets pushed to the bottom of the invoice below imported transactions.  The only fix is to delete the imported transaction and manually add it back in.  Then there isn't an issue.   I have submitted several cases about this and just received a final note that I have to use the modernized invoice template in order to customize my invoice, because if I am using a custom form style it won't work.  So fine, I switch the default to modernized.  But it's a

I'm assisting a client in setting up his checking account to receive payments from his customers. It's been a frustrating process so far. QBO is requesting documentation to prove he owns the business and the checking account Every document we've submitted has been rejected, including some very personal docs such as his driver's license. QBO is now asking for a personal bank statement that shows his home address. This feels unnecessarily invasive of his privacy. Why need his home address for a business account? I want to understand why these documents are required. When we link a checking account to the Bank Transactions, we only have to have the sign-on credentials with the bank. Why does the business owner need to provide personal documents to receive invoice payments?

Hey everyone — wanted to flag something that's been coming up with several of my clients lately and curious if others are seeing the same thing.NACHA's updated rules go live June 22, and they raise the bar for verifying vendor bank account details before sending ACH payments. Basically, if a client sends an ACH payment to an unverified vendor account and it turns out to be fraudulent (account takeover, fake vendor, etc.), they have significantly less protection under the new rules.A few of my clients have dozens of vendors in QuickBooks with bank details that were never formally verified — just entered from an email or phone call years ago. That's a real exposure right now.I've been running quick vendor bank account verification checks before the deadline. I've enabled the Venmo/PayPal option in my invoices, However, my client says she is experiencing issues with making the payment using the Venmo option.  When she tries to input her shipping address she receives an error message stating "something has gone wrong".  The AI Chat Bot stated I do not need a separate Venmo account and offers to help me enable it. Even though I know it has been enabled I opted in.  But then the Bot goes on the state that it cannot be done.  What am I missing here? Thanks

I have a $49k deposit on hold for 10 days now. 6 calls to resolution center. I was “assured” by them on the phone deposit was going to clear twice. On the days they specified in that assurance I received another email. With more questions. Every time i call the person assured me everything was set,but i had to wait 2 more days. My business and my life are in the balance and i am told that no one who can help me has a phone at intuit. There is something called the operations center that reviews and asks the questions but we can’t talk to them. My new business and my reputation  is about to be destroyed because the client wants to know where their money is, and when i will have access to it. I’ve given them answers based on what the resolution center “assured” me multiple times, and still have nothing to show for it. I can’t even give them a receipt for the $49k because I don’t have it. What happens to a payment if my bank account is no longer active, and the payment was already deposited?

Where do I change the size of the signature?
