Two weeks ago, we started experiencing "Access Denied" errors when trying to log into our Timesheet application. Initially, we suspected the issue was related to our firewall, as we had recently made changes. We added exception rules in our FortiGate firewall, but the issue soon affected remote users as well—users who do not go through our office firewall. We've also tested access using different browsers (Chrome, Edge, and Firefox) to rule out browser-specific issues, but the results have been inconsistent. Occasionally, the problem resolves itself temporarily without any changes on our end. We are heavily dependent on this application both internally and for our clients, as it is essential for reporting work hours. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
QB Support says this is a global problem - I find that hard to believe that no one is able to use QB mobile apps if using a QB Online account. I have tried multiple devices, multiple iOS versions, multiple versions of QB on my devices and the result is the exact same. When I open the app - I am prompted for my login details, select my company and the app hard crashes back to the iOS home screen. It happens when using username/password or FaceID to authenticate. Been using QB for 7+ years and I have not been able to use the mobile apps for months.
Hi RoseJillB Thank you for the excellent response. I have a much better understanding of Start and End dates now even if they don't necessarily serve the greatest of purposes for me at this time. As I continue to learn about bookkeeping principles in general and QuickBooks especially, I may indeed find that I need to have those dates undeletable! For now, I am going to keep plugging away at. And try not to let the little things like these and more bother me. For example, Why does the formatting keep changing on its own in this text box, or Why can't I sign in to the QuickBooks Community after 100s of attempts and trying everything possible short of actually calling Support. It is the most maddening of experiences and confirms my belief that while QBO may be a very "robust" accounting program, it clearly lacks the finesse it needs to "engage" the user. Payments reminders have been working until just recently. Now it isn't showing customer email address in the reminders screen. There are email addresses on the customer master record as well as preferred method set to email. I was sent information from a customer support representative. This information did not solve the issue. Please provide more information.

I am need to correct a journal entry then correct a balance
I'm super frustrated with QBO. When I'm in our bank transactions & go to match a bank deposit to the customers payment, it adds another deposit to the customers transactions. This is a major problem & I can't understand WHY QBO has not fixed this? Instead of matching the deposit to the "received payment" from the customer, it adds another deposit which throws off the customer balance. I can't have this. If anyone else is struggling with this, I found a workaround. It's not ideal, nor is it acceptable that a software can't fix these bugs when we pay a ton of money. The only way I've found to fix this issue is to just NOT receive the payment when a customers check comes in & instead match the bank transaction deposit to the open balance invoice. If the customer pays via QuickBooks payments then I just have to exclude those transactions. Otherwise it will add another deposit. I'm just so frustrated with the terrible customer service & constant issues I now

Sorry for the ambiguous title. I really wasn't sure what to put for a title.... I'm looking for a work around or fix to an issue I have, let me explain. I have 2 main sources of income that are going into quickbooks. One of them is a very slow and tedious process where I export sales transactions from a platform that doesn't connect to QBO, I then make the receipts and add them to QBO. What I love about this is I can go to the report for sales by product/service and see exactly where my income is coming from and the percentages of these services. My second source of income has been migrated to a new platform that integrates with QBO. I was SOO happy. What it looks like was me matching sales types/products/services from said platform with a QBO chart of account. So I had to create around 25 COA that match each of these items. Then what happens is the integration creates a journal entry to move the money into the chart of account as well as into the undeposited funds. Once

You can't get it back apparently, at least according to the other threads. Classic Intuit "we will randomly completely to take away an ease of use feature we trumpeted as being great and got you to depend on for your daily workflow in order to force you into pages / workflows that WE think you should love despit all evidence otherwise". Please let us remove or update this new Invoice copy: "Your invoice is ready!"My small business has been using Quickbooks for 20 years. This new copy is horrible, too aggressive sounding, unprofessional, and totally goes against fostering good customer relations. I called QB and talked to two people and a "case" was created for my request. The person I spoke with could not confirm either way if this would be seriously reviewed. Extremely frustrating.
When I run my Balance Sheet the inventory asset dollar amount does not match the dollar amount of my Inventory Valuation Summary. I thought the balance sheet would show the amount of my inventory on hand. Why would these numbers not match? I would just like to understand where QuickBooks is bringing that dollar amount from. We are a winery using the Premier Manufacturing and Wholesale edition of QuickBooks. I have a situation where one batch of unbottled wine was partially bottled and the remainder will be aged further for blending. I inventory wine using bottle as the unit of measure, estimating the number of bottles we expect to get and then correcting the inventory when the item is bottled.In this situation, I want to create a new item that will represent the wine aged for blending, as there will be additional costs incurred on this item. However, to start, I would like the new item to have the cost of original batch of wine prior to bottling. How can I create a new item, but load in the cost from the prior batch it is derived from? I tried subitems, but that does not work, as it starts with zero average cost. Thank you!
Today I got the message, "Paychecks dated in the past can only be paid by paper check. One or more of your employees was set to be paid by direct deposit, so we automatically switched them to paper check for this pay run. If you need to pay them by direct deposit, set Pay date to today or later, depending on your funding timeline." When I changed the pay date for tomorrow, the saved paycheck info of all 6 employees disappeared. What happened?
I see customer paid but it’s not showing up
We are running QB 18 on a server that we host. I am working with an outside accountant who only has QB online. How can i share my file with him or can i extend our QB Enterprise to the web? We need to be server hosted due to a sync between our ERP platform and QB.
