QB online payroll..... Is Jury duty a pay type or a PTO? Time T sheets ..... do i need Time off Code for jury duty?Thanks
I get an email today that QBO Payroll will only do AUTOMATIC???? They claim accountants don't want to do payroll taxes??? Says WHO? QB takes the money out way in advance of when it needs to be withdrawn and the only experiences I've had with it have been a nightmare! I loathe QBO even MORE than I did already and I didn't think I could think LESS of it.
We have QB version for 3 users. In recent days we got the following pop-up box before we even log into QB 'There's a new QuickBooks software update waiting for you. Looks like you don't have the required permissions. Contact your systems administrator.' If we log in with the Admin password and run the updates & restart, this box still does not go away. 1. Why does one need system admin now to run regular updates?2. How do you run this particular update if not in the way we did it as described above?Thanks.

So I've just noticed when I send a batch of invoices and select the specific template I want to use, the template is ONLY used on the FIRST ONE! All of the others are sent via the default! This is incredibly frustrating as I have about 10 specific templates created for various scenarios. I guess this is just one more thing they're doing to push us from desktop. This is beyond frustrating and certainly explains why my customers aren't understanding what I'm talking about. And do not come at me saying I need to uncheck the combine forms feature, I KNOW THAT! I am so sick of intuit continuously working AGAINST the people that pay their bills.
Quickbooks desktop - How can I move the QTY FIELD in the desktop version? when Im typing my invoices, the QTY field USED to be over on the right right before RATE, now its moved to the LEFT before the description.
Hello,Please let me know how to make an adjustment(s) to employee pay, to retroactively change the employer pickup "company contribution" to taxable income (for Fed W/H & FICA), for paychecks dates 1/1/26 - 3/15/26.The new payroll item is set up and works properly for new checks. I am a TIME and online payroll CORE user. (formerly INTUIT) I created a new Time off code to reward workers who have no tardies and no absenses in a month. If a worker is not absent or Tardy for a month he is rewarded with 4 Eureka hours at the end of the month.. The problem is that Eureka is showing up as dollars on the run payroll screen and not as hours. I need it to be hours. Example 1: a worker earns 4 eureka hours in January and 4 more Eureka hours in February so that at the end of Februay he has a total of 8 Eureka hours. Then he decides he wants to use three eureka hours so that he can get paid for his dentist appointent. He should be able to go to workforce and chose to use 3 eureka hours for the time he missed for his dentist appointment. I want his next pay stub to say he has used 3 Eureka hours and now has a balance of 5 avaiblabe eureka hours.Example 2: a work
Hello. I’m new at this agency. I need to clear out all the old bills (already paid) showing on the AP Aging Report.Bills were entered through AP module, Db expense accounts. Some payments were made via ACH, debit, or credit card on the vendor websites not through QBDT. And the payments were entered as journal entries, Db AP and Cr either credit or debit account. To zero out a bill paid via credit/debit account and payment was entered as a journal entry like I’ve mentioned above, I clicked on Set Credits, and applied the credit to the bill. On the bottom of the Pay Bills screen, under Method, in the box, there are Scheduled Online Payment, Check, and Credit Card. Since we don’t have any *credit or debit account* set up in QB, I couldn't choose Credit Card so I had to choose Check instead and clicked Pay Selected Bills. The bill is taken off from the AP Aging report and in G/L it’s showing Bill Pmt-Check in the Type column. I’m not sure if I did it correctly an
Accrued hours based on Every Hour, will accrue on all hours. This includes when you use Vacation or Sick Time items, which should not be included. It should only be on hours worked. If you have payroll items for Holiday, Bereavement, Jury Duty, Sick or Vacation time, it will a calculate on all those payroll items and inflate the Sick Time that is accruing on the employee. Has QB made any changes to this? Can you set up Holiday, bereavement, vacation, etc. with a different TYPE to not include in HOURS WORKED?

I am wondering if a single employee can have two vacation policies at the same time?Can our workers have the both the current vacation policy that we have now (which is accrued on each hour work); and a 2nd policy that i could use randomly to reward employees for a good safety behavior. (SV) i would want:1) both policies with balances to appear on thier workforce app2) employees to be able to request one or both policies as off itme.3) both policies to appear as options on the TIME Tsheet and Time reports.4) the payroll admin to have the abilty to award these SV whenever they choose. And for the employee to take the SV hours whenever the employees chooses?What is the best way to handle this. Why does QBs online want a copy of my social security card and driver's license. QBs online threatened to close our account if I don't provide this. I don't feel comfortable giving MY PERSONAL INFORMATION to QBs when I am not an employee of QBs. I sent it in but now I am waiting to be scammed.
