How do I update the payment credit card for payroll services. We have a new credit card. I updated in the little gear icon. It updated the online services, but payroll services still shows not active.
This started yesterday. Quickbooks Enterprise on Skyline.
I have a client that uses QBO payroll core with automatic payroll filing and paying. Just discovered that QBO filed the 2026 1st quarter TX Unemployment report on January 29, 2026. We got a notice that the 2025 4th quarter report was late, which we thought was odd, since QBO said it was filed 1/29/26, and now we know why. Now the 2026 1st quarter TX Unemployment report was rejected because it was already filed (incorrectly by QBO) and now we have to amend it for our client, as QBO said that amending is not available at the payroll core level...even though it was a QBO error. I am beyond frustrated with Intuit. They need to stop paying so much for advertising and start fixing their program to avoid these kinds of errors. And if they had any consideration for their customers paying the subscription pricing, QBO would make it right when they make an error. Step up, Intuit! Please do not give me an AI response bot trying to sooth this over.
Hello,My dropdowns aren't working in bank transactions. Nothing shows when I type in field either.I already tried clearing cache, incognito, different browser, signing out then in again, restarting computer, etc.This has been happening off and on for months.
I want to update the payment methods of our customers, but I can't find where to update the options or list of the different methods. I can only see the 'Payment Method List' report... Any advice would be appreciated.
None of the drop down menus are populated with anything
I just started QBO today. I've added clients and accounts and have been posting transactions. When I signed back in, nothing is in the dropdown lists for clients or accounts. If I go to those lists, everything is there. But dropdown lists in transactions are blank. Nothing is inactive. I've cleared my cache and my history for both Safari and Firefox. It's all the same. And it took me a ridiculously long time to figure out how to post here. Did I mention I used to work for Intuit? I understood then why customers were frustrated, but I see nothing has changed in seven years.

Quickbooks showed that I owed $268 for 1st quarter estimated taxes. Right after I printed out the 1040-ES, the amounts showing what I owe changed for each quarter to figures that were completely different. It is now showing that I paid $107 for 1st quarter which is completely inaccurate. I have strong doubts about whether the amounts shown that I owe for the remaining quarters are correct. This has never happened in the past 4 years that I've been using Quickbooks. I tried to rectify the issue through a chat with tech support, but they didn't seem too knowledgeable. Does anyone know what's going on?

Create a check for the employee.To pay the employee, see the following options:Create a regular check:From the Banking menu, choose Write Checks.Enter the date as the date of the original paycheck.On the check, in Pay to the Order of, select the employee for whom to issue the check.In the $ (amount) field, enter the net amount of the direct deposit.On the Expenses tab, in the Account column, select Direct Deposit Liabilities. (Select Cancel if prompted to pay payroll liabilities.)Check the Print Later box at the top of the page, next to the Print icon.Select Save & Close. Since this is a paper check, it does not need to be transmitted to Intuit.

When I moved to Quickbooks Online and downloaded the app, it had the ability to still view in Desktop View by clicking a toggle button. This option is still available for 2 of my companies. On one of them however, the option to switch the view is gone. Where did it go?

I have QuickBooks Self-Employed Tax Bundle. Last weekend, I started my taxes through QuickBooks by sending the info to TurboTax. I went through the entire process, and then TurboTax wanted to charge me $203. I called QuickBooks before paying it and was told I have to pay for TurboTax and then request a refund. The representative ("Clyde") sent me an email with the case number (15157206984) and told me to reply to the email with my order number to request a refund. I did that and got a reply that stated "Thank you for your email. We would love to help you with your question but are unable to find an existing open case for your request." So I went through the online process to request a refund, and it was denied. I have now spent more time and energy on this fee than I did on my actual taxes, which is ridiculous. Please tell me how to resolve this.
We are in an endless customer service loop trying to change our chief financial officer name and restablishing our link to our ban account for payroll direct deposit and tax payments. We send all the required information to Intuit with a promise to hear back in 5 business days. When that time expires with no contact and we call back it starts a new case all over again. There appears to no point of escalation. We are about ready to dump QB Online and start with a competitor. Anyone know how to blow through this loop and contact someone who can actually do something?

Hi, I'm trying to find a way to install QB2017. I can't remember what version it was, pro or not, most likely not pro.I have the QB backup saved but I don't believe I have the disc or if it was downloaded when purchased online (most likely). Is there a way to get me a link to the last updated version of 2017?

Hi all, When a customer opens an invoice via the payment link, they are shown all unpaid invoices for their account. Rather than just the invoice associated with that link. This is causing confusion. We only want the specific invoice being paid to appear, not the full list of outstanding invoices. Is there a way to limit the payment screen to just the selected invoice? This is how it was originally for us until it was updated to show all invoices. Below is an example. Thank you.
How to not display all unpaid invoices showing in payment page. My customers will send different invoice to certain customer, they don't want to their customers see unpaid invoice not related.
QB software has it correct. TurboTax correct - the part of the company I should have ed the least amount of problems and where my money is…..continuous problems!!!
