I'm not sure how to describe this exactly, but I will try and explain - I am cleaning up some reconciliations, and I have a problem with one statement/check. I have a check for $1445.67, number 1616.  The reconciliation is also out of balance by -1,445.67I cannot find a duplicate entry.  I went back to the transactions, found the check, undid it, and re-entered it.Same problem. I'm not sure where or how to fix this issue.  Any suggestions? ThanksEJ

I would like to upload ACH payments to my bank in a file so I don't have to enter each one at a time to make my weekly bill payments. They only accept an NACHA formatted file.

I know that Intuit has a payroll card but does anyone know if the employer can get the cards to provide to employees when they get hired?

Why are some employees missing after migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online? I've checked the employee list, and even when I try to add them again, it says the display name is already in use — but I can't find it anywhere.What is odd, if I do a search at the top, I can see my name, and all my details.. However, if I click on Employees and select ALL employees, nothing. I could not imagine I have to re-create each employee? Obviously the system see's the data for this employee, but where is it!?

Does anybody have any tips for improving QBO performance? I have done all the typical things like switching browsers, clearing cookies and other browser data. All I get is spinning wheels, even when I try to log out. In addition, my bank transaction comes up blank, except for the account summary boxes.

search engine not working, keeps saying no tranactions before I even put in what Im searching for

Quickbooks decided to give Invoices a new look. What a disaster We use invoices to book our daily sales at our restaurant.  We don't use sales receipts because we need to apply multiple payments to a single invoice.  Last time I tried this using sales receipts only one payment could be made 1) No longer an option to make Discounts pre or post tax.  The old version it was drag-and-drop.  If there's a way to do this in the new design then they've obfuscated the process pretty well 2) Sales tax amount requires a bunch of clicks to override. Before I could just position the cursor in the sales tax box and put in the value.  Now there's a button, then a new window then you are required to put in an override reason. WTH?Please stop messing around with perfectly good processes.  Instead, fix the sales tax reporting function which is just terrible

Have a uncleared deposit in Paypal Balance account. In bank transactions, have a match with an invoice. How do I match the deposit with the bank transaction? 

Good morning, I am needing to access my 940 forms that were filed in 2022 and amend someone's W-2. I moved from QBDesktop to QBOnline and no longer have access to my QBDT. Can you please walk me through the process to get those files into my QBO account so I can re-print and send required documentation to the IRS? It seems silly that I would have to re-purchase QBDT for this purpose, so I'm hoping for a better solution. Thanks,Lauren

HI, my old Imac crashed and I was able to get my files, including company QB files, saved to an external hard drive.I downloaded a version of QB 2019 For Mac on a new computer, but I cannot get QB to open my company files. I have then in a folder on the desktop, when I go to QB/file/opencompany/browse I can locate the folder of back up files I've migrated over from the hard drive, but the files are grayed out. How can I get QB on the new computer to open import and open my files? Thanks:-)

Hello, We had QB Enterprise 2023 and had some users experiencing slow performance and the symptom was that user was showing to open lots of file attachments from the server attach folder. We called tech support and it was reported to us that it was a known issue and that if we update to 2024, that should fix it?We updated to 2024 and the problem still exists. Only some users, many files from attach folder open. Anyone know anything more about this issue?

Hi -  I'm wondering how many other folks are experiencing the latency issues that apparently is a known issue. We can barely function as a business right now and from what I was just told that an update will be pushed out on Tuesday (08.05.25). I am genuinely curious how big of an issue this is for anyone else?  For us, it's huge - we can't get anything done. Thanks
