Good afternoon.  QB2024. I mistakenly created a customer job with the same name as the customer.  Now all of the work we've done for the customer are in the job file and nothing in the main customer.  I tried to restore a backup file, but it says the backup file is read only.Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I fix this mess?Thanks,Barbara

For example, my boss has created reports she would like me to see, and believes they should be available in the "custom reports section" without any intervention. We have the same access rights. How is this possible without going into each individual reports and "sharing" it

I am currently using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 20.0 version but I would like to switch to QuickBooks Online version.  Am I able to convert my QuickBooks Enterprise to QuickBooks Online? Based on the information from The QuickBooks Guide to Converting QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, it seems the convert guide is only for Pro or Premier. Thus, I am wondering will Enterprise version works as well?  Could anyone please confirm it?  Thank you!

I have a client who is going to begin paying PTO.  It will start accruing on 10-1-20 for all employees, based on the number of hours worked.  Where do I go to set up the rate at which it accrues?  I set up a paid time off vacation category in Payroll Item Lists.  Do I set up the accrual rate somewhere in employee setup?

Earlier this week, I received an email notifying me of a 70% price increase beginning next month due to new AI features that I do not need nor want.  From the little bit of experience I have had in Quickbooks with incorrect autofilling of vendor names when setting up new vendors that requires me to go back in and delete out duplicate entries to avoid double printing names on checks, I do not trust that the new AI will be helpful; in fact, I expect that it will increase my workload by requiring me to audit and double check everything that it is doing.  If it cannot do a simple name extraction, why would I trust it to allocate expenses or pull information from invoices correctly?Since I do not feel that the AI is actually ready for general use, I feel that this should be an optional feature that can be added to plans for those who feel that it would bring them value without forcing it on all plans and those of us that do not want it.I tried contacting customer service through c

I'm trying to start up a new account in QuickBooks Enterprise. I need to figure out how to record a property that I'm trying to flip and resell within a year's time. I want to be able to keep track of the purchase and all the renovations for that specific property, before I sell it. I don't want to use QuickBooks online to do this. I've read about recording it as a fixed asset but I also read that it should only be used for purchases of a year or longer. Also I read about doing it in class but is that only for QB online?

This is my first time with QuickBooks. I am trying to figure out how to operate it. 

My customer is receiving payment confirmation emails.  However, the 'Manage Payment" link isn't working.

I have a problem where an admin that works late, keeps the company file in single user mode. Users that start working at 6am cannot login, and at that time there is no admin around to change to multiuser.It would be helpful if there was a way to automate changing the file back to multiuser at midnight, for example. Is there a way to implement that?I wish that any operation that requires locking the file access "single mode", would prompt the user at the end of the operation to unlock the file or switch back to "multiuser". It should only stay in single mode if the user initiated the single mode state. Maybe it would be an easier concept to get if those modes would be called locked and unlocked. This way auto-lock will auto-expire.

I use Estimates & Progress Invoicing report on a monthly basis and now the filter no longer works. Can anyone assist?
