I'm looking for the desktop version with a "Lifetime" license, no payroll connections to Intuit.  What advice on software purchase can anyone offer?  I need the software to cut payroll, but I can manually calculate the taxes. I need access to the quarterly reports (941, state WH, state UI), but I can also file those manually with the need of an in-between entity.  I want to run the books on my PC alone, with zero connection to the internet or Intuit.  ADVICE MUCH APPRECIATED!

Hi QB community,I’m having an ongoing issue of my contractors bank info not showing in QB after they add it to their portal. I see there have been a lot of questions on this but I have not seen a fix. Does anyone have a resolution. 

My company accepted credit card years ago but, stopped little while ago. Can I accept the credit card again?

All of the statements that I receive from my vendors are in order of the date of each individual bill, but I can’t find any way to sort the bills in “pay bills” by the bill date. I can only sort by due date, which isn’t helpful, because an entire month worth of bills is due on the same day. Is there any way to sort by the date of the bill?Also, today for the first time I ran across the issue that it won’t let me select more than 20 bills at once. Is there any reason for that? It’s really not helpful when I have 24 bills to pay. I had to un-select 4 bills, then to to my checking account, find the bills, then re-select them, which of course are in a different order than they are in “pay bills”.Finally, is there any way to enter a memo on the pay bills screen or do I have to save it, go to checking, find the bill, and enter what I want in the memo?Lots of improvements to be made in paying bills to make it actually functional for customers! So the year is 2026 and i am still looking to have single sign on enable in qbo / intuit. Is there any progress on this we dont care about an intuit account at all we are a mid sized accounting firm that takes security very seriously and this is the biggest pain point we have for vendors. 

I am using QB Enterprise Solutions Contractor 24.0 desktop.  Last week QB prompted me to use the set up wizard for qualified overtime income tracking which I did.  We pay qualified overtime and I chose "yes" to track.  This is the 2nd week that I have created paychecks in 2026 with qualified overtime, QB is not tracking.  I have had to add it manually, a lot of trouble for how much money we pay for enhanced payroll.  I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with QB help (also an hour wait for a live person).  No solution yet.

We need to transfer one of our client's subscrion to new accountant. We cannot see transfer subscription option.

We had an employee for 3 weekly pay runs who provided incorrect super details.  The super payment bounced back, I spoke with QB who created an employer chosen super but this also bounced back.I have been 2.5 hours waiting for chats / calls from QB and nothing.Anyone offer any advice so I can sort this issue out and then cancel my QB account.

I currently have 3 bank accounts mostly my personaluse plus credit card.i would like to add another bank account to accomodate my side ventures separate from personal.is this possible..How do I install open banking g on quivkbooks is it a lengthy process.Thank you kindly.

The Bank rule created asks for the payment of the credit card to be a transfer between accounts. But in error, I find these are considered as a Credit card credit, which it is not.

Hey QB community! I have been finally taking over my quickbooks online to better understand my budget. On my profit and loss statements there are transactions that need to be reclassified.  I have figured out how to go back into banking and do this one by one, but I know there has to be a way to bulk reclassify. I have seen with accountant tools you can,  I cannot seem to find these accountant tools and I am not certain

When I take an owners draw (QBSP calls it “owners pay”) from my business account to my personal account QB Solopreneur gives Transaction Type options as Expense, Check, Transfer, or Credit Card Payment. This is a transfer of equity, so I assume its Transfer... right? I’m not an accountant and catch myself making wrong assumptions too often not to ask at this point.

I have run the QuickBooks update and restarted, but the red exclamation mark still appears in my reminders to ‘Restart Quickbooks and install updates.  I have done this several times now, but the alert will not clear.

If we are already using a basic overtime pay type and all of our OT hours are "qualified", why would we need to add the "Qualified Overtime Tracking" pay type?

Hi, today is my subscription billing comes (28/6/2026). And it always happened every month, when i want to pay it, the system said "Your account suspended". Alright then, i try to pay it with my VISA card, and then boom, the system said "Something's is not working blabla" just like in the picture that i attached hereMy question is why this is always happened:(I try to be calm and dont panic, but turns out this is always happened. Please fix this. I already tried like 3+ times update my payments with the same card but the system always said like this. What do you mean?
