I have never been as disappointed in a product. It costs 3x what the desktop did and is completely lame, particularly for payments.
What is the proper way to record a check given to the company to reimburse accidental use of the company credit card on a personal purchase? The credit card has already been paid in full by the company. If the employee gives us a check written to the company, how do I record it in quickbooks desktop?Also, Can you take the reimbursement out of the employees check if they want it done that way?
I have been using QB 2019 Desktop for Mac on my iMac and on my MacBook Air since 2019. One of the companies on my MacBook Air oddly was not matching the up-to-date company info on my iMac, so after trying to access the updated info in iCloud with no success, I deleted the QB application on my MacBook Air, removing all plists and emptying the trash. I then tried to reinstall the app with the original disc but no matter what I do, each time I double-click the application to open it, I get an error message: “QuickBooks 2019 quit unexpectedly.” Needless to say, I’m unable to go any further to enter the license # or product # info to activate the program. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Quickbooks has done it again. Changed how bank feeds are handled and broke the program. Had to switch to using "Advanced Mode" bank feed because Express Mode was causing duplicate transactions. Advanced mode sucks. Crashes constantly, errors constantly, slow, slow, slow. And this is not new, been going on for months now, but where are you QB? Not to the rescue that's for sure!

I have a lot of custom reports which I have saved as shareable to all. I have an new employee starting and when she logs in she cannot see the custom reports. Can someone help?

It worked fine for years, then decided to stop working on one of my laptops.
We have 1 customer that receives their invoice as a winmail.dat instead of a .pdf. This ONLY happens when we send out bulk invoices in the monthly batch. If there is a single invoice or an estimate sent to this client, they receive it correctly as a .pdf file. The sender and recipient are both using Microsoft Office 2019. This has been a problem for us with both QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Professional Services 21.0 and 22.0. I have set Outlook to send all mail from our side as plain text per QB's instructions. Creating a non-professional email just to send out bulk invoices to all of our clients is a non-starter, not just from a professionalization standpoint, but also from a security standpoint. Is there a different mail setting within QuickBooks for sending invoices in bulk compared to sending just a single invoice?

Ever since I did the payroll update, the federal withholding being deducted is drastically more than last year and I’m not sure why. Can anyone explain this or has it happened to anyone else?
Is there any way to add an additional 1.5x rate, based on an employee's standard hourly rate, rather than calculated and updated each time there's a raise? Similarly, can we tie OT to the employee's pay rate, rather than their highest pay rate? Adding a custom pay type to the employee is messing with their OT as well.
Anyone else having issues looking at estimates and invoices on the app? There are days where they won’t even show up for me so I have to go to my customer directly to find a specific estimate or invoice.

I have been using Quickbooks Premier 2021 Desktop for a while. I purchased an updated version with license and product numbers. I can't open my current desktop version. I'm asked to login to my Intuit account but the pop-up window does not completely load. I login into my account directly with no problems but it did not "reset" the counter when I open the desktop. I tried to install my 2019 but when I get to registration I just get the endless spinning 4 dots. There are other articles about this but no resolution. I tried to call support. They told me because I did not install it when I purchased it they will no activate it for me. Does anyone have a work around or information? I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there are no supervisors and there are no other actions that can be taken to resolve my issue. This is ridiculous. How can they legally prevent you from activating software you paid for? I've been using quickbooks and then enterprise since the mid 90s. This is a terrible way to treat any customer, especially someone who's been loyal to a product for so long. This is just morally wrong.
We hired an employee in July of 2025. He entered the wrong SS#. I just discovered it now the first week of 2026.What should i do? All my quarterly federals have his wrong SS#. All our state monthly forms have his wrong SS#. Please help. ThanksLDO
I'm having problems with Quickbooks Workforce. I've invited two different employees using the same email address. When they log into Workforce, they can see the info for themselves. However, the other employee is now stuck such that they cannot log in nor see any of their info. I tried to remove both employees from Workforce to no avail. How do I fix this issue?
