We create invoices in USD, and in QBO they are recorded correctly with the appropriate exchange rate applied, resulting in accurate CAD values. However, when payments are processed through Helcim in USD and synced to QBO, the transactions are deposited into our USD bank account, but QBO applies an exchange rate of 1 USD = 1 CAD. This leads to incorrect foreign exchange gain/loss entries. It appears that the correct exchange rate is not being passed to QBO during the sync process. Could you please investigate this issue? This discrepancy is impacting the accuracy of our financial reporting, so we would appreciate your prompt assistance.

As a software developer, this is literally the worst experience I've ever had. You've cost me actual money by refusing to make simple changes that have been requested year after year as seen on this board. In an effort to secure your employment, you shuffle around the UI and confuse your customers and call it progress. If my accountants hadn't forced me into using your software I would not be using it. Since I will probably get banned for posting this without an example, how about line item descriptions disappearing when I change a single character in the line item name? Or the fact that if I try and make a new item from a line item that has a category, you keep the category into the new line item name? Incredibly basic, inane details that literally any junior developer could solve in a single revision.
I was originally signed up for this, QBO was supposed to file the reports and send in the payments. QBO took $5000+ out of my cheking account to pay my NYS-45, quarterly report. It never made it to NYTAX Dept. The report was never filed either. They kept the money for 7 months. They never did admit that they had taken it. I got proof from the bank and sent it to them. Meanwhile, I was penalized for not sending the report and not paying the money due with the report. You know, New York's favorite words: Penalty and Interest. So I paid what was owed and the penalty/interest. So, I went to the New York State Attorney General, my lawyer, and the New York State Consumer Protection Agency. They NEVER admitted that they took out the money, seven months later, it mysteriously showed up in my bank account. No apology, no notification or anything. The money was just transferred to my account. I really don't want to go through that again. That is a pretty bad way to treat their customers. I may s

I got an email reminding me to pay this quarter's MN PFML. I selected the PAY button and get: "Oops! We’re facing some issues on our end. Please try again later or contact us for more help." I waited a day and tried again. Same thing. Is this still being worked on on the Intuit side?
I have four cash payments that were applied in part to an invoice. The remainder is applied to a check. I created and dated the invoice first. I applied each partial payment as it came in. I left the remainder of the payment as a credit. Once I received all the payments, I wrote a check for the overage. I wrote the check using AR accounting code. I applied the credits to the check. The last two payments and the check are showing up as unapplied cash. i have unapplied and reapplied the payments. The invoice is fully paid. I do not understand why they are showing up as unapplied cash income. Can anyone help?
I have been on QB Pro 2012 for years and finally decided to upgrade (?) to QB Pro Desktop 2021 (nonsubscription). I am on Windows 10. Office 2013. I do not subscribe to Payroll b/c I have one employee, a spouse, and she is exempt from almost everything to my CPA says he only wants and needs the excel form.I did not overwrite the 2012 program or data. I installed QB 2021, put it in the default directory, and COPIED the 2012 datafile to a new 2021 data directory. I am able to open the file and generate most reports (that I have tried) and even some EXCEL reports. However, the EXCEL report I use the most is the Tax Forms worksheets from QB to Excel. These work fine in QB2012 even after doing the upgrade. However, when I try to do the export in 2021 I get an error message. When I select the Tax Forms worksheets in QB2021 it seems to load QB_Taxform_Link1.xlt and, if marcros are enabled, it loads the menu that lets
I have a company file that ran in QBD 2022. When I upgraded to 2024, this file would not open in the QBD 2024 so I kept it in 2022. Now that I've upgraded to Enterprise, I still can't open it in the new version. And now, because I canceled the 2024 Desktop, I can't open 2022 Desktop and can't access this company file anymore (major freak out). I've run the Quickbooks Desktop File Doctor and it can't find anything wrong with this file. HELP!!!!!
