Can someone please answer me this question for Washington State and Quickbooks Online. 1) What is the best procedure for entering a cash advance for an employee when they are given a check outside of normal payroll and it is not realized until after clearing the bank (and or after the month is reconciled). QuickBooks told me one method but when the monies are deducted each payroll it was not showing that the debt was being reduced. 2) When are the 941 federal taxes supposed to come out for the advance and how is that entered? Thank you.

Do less with QuickBooks , speak to a robot, sign up it’s great , no customer service phone number , will take your money quicker than linford Christie, let you stare at the screen for several hrs , then take more money out your account, feeling very frustrated

Our Custom Style template is selected to include a balance forward so that any outstanding balance is displayed on the current invoice. As of today each of the customers that have a balance forward, display as if there is no previous balance owed. Incredibly frustrating!! We invoiced at the end of January and this worked as intended but it is no longer working. Why?

I recently upgraded to QB online and imported my old desktop categorizations with the help of QB support.  I then logged into each of my bank accounts and linked all bank accounts, so that all transactions for the last several  years would be automatically uploaded to QB online.   The problem arose when I sat down a few weeks ago to do my 2024 Income taxes (I got an extension but now only have a few weeks get the QB Reports to my CPA).   I gave remote access to 4 different QB account specialists when many of my 2024 bank transactions seemed to be “hidden” to try to determine the solution to this, but ultimately, we were all stuck. We did determine the following, however: 1) All transactions seem to have been imported from all my bank accounts to QB online, since we can see the total number of transactions for each account that was imported, but only a fraction of the transactions appear in my "Bank Transactions" list, as most are h

My transactions from Square are showing as revenue, but the only thing that shows in the Sales mini-report on the dashboard, or the Sales tab are the invoices that I've sent. Do I need to reclassify? Do I have a false definition of "sales"?
