For my insurance audit I need a report showing payment totals to each sub contractor for a period of time. My old payroll with intuit had this option, but do not see it in this updated one.

Some of our employees request Holiday Pay off, but some dont request Holiday Pay off so i have to enter it manually in payroll when i run payroll.1, Should Employees request Holiday pay in Work Force? If they don't request Holiday through the WorkForce App I do not think it will show up on the TIME report PTO list,2.Should i manually enter Holiday in TIME module if my employees forget to request it on the Work Force App.3. What are the negatives if i wait and enter the Holiday when i go to Run Payroll in the Payroll Module. 4. Should I enter Holiday on the schedule in the Time Module?5. What happens if an employee doesnt meet the requirements to be paid for the Holdiay? (our policy is that the employee must work the scheduled day before and the day after to be paid for the Holiday.What am i missing?ThanksLDO

An employee requested vacation for his wedding. Originally He had enough vacation hours so the boss approved the vacation request, But since then his mother got sick and he used all his vacation to care for his mother. Our policy is that if you miss work you have to take vacation. (even if was already approved for a future event, So now he has no vacation left to for his wedding which is in a few months. How doe Intuit Quickbooks Time handle ithis ? Do most companies make their employees take vacation if they miss work for any reason? Will the workforce app let him know there is no longer vacation available and unapproved his previous request. How is QB TIME Payroll designed to handle this?What do you suggest?ThanksLDO
We have gotten a call everyday this week from an Allen Smith saying that he is from QB and we needed to pay our annual subscription with a card. Number is [PII Removed] ext 107. Distinctive middle eastern accent and very demanding to get payment over the phone. Subscription is paid and we have a payment receipt from Intuit. Everyone please be careful!

There was supposedly an ongoing investigation about my issue but I received an email from QBO saying, "We reviewed your case (15155410883), and found that QuickBooks Online is working as designed." That is not correct. I spent several hours on the phone with 3 different experts that could not help me. Here is the issue: See the attached photo. When I go to my Sales Tax Overview, no information generates. When I select 'Sales Tax Returns', I get an error saying "Something isn't working" and my two active agencies are not appearing in the drop down menu. There is also an error saying "Filing frequency needed for some tax agencies. To view your sales tax info, finish setting up your agencies." When I go to my Sales Tax Settings, there are 320 unrelated tax agencies that have appeared out of nowhere. 33 pages of agencies that I did not add. I made them all "inactive" but am still getting the error that the filing frequency needs to be added for these 320 agencies that I do not us
I am able to sort by different things in most reports, but in my Invoices and Received Payments Report, the dates are all over the place, not by invoice date, payment date, or invoice number. Its just random it seems.
My classes just disappeared. When I go to the gear icon/all lists/classes, the still show up there. But they aren't available in my weekly timesheet, expense form, or bill form. I was just entering bills a little bit ago, and had no problem, but now when I click the arrow on the class field, none of my classes show up. Help! I can't do anything without classes.
Dag - Since that last Square update... It looks like I am going to have to start manually updating Square Deposits with Journal Entries - particularly since i am already completely missing two days' Square Payouts. Is there a training video anywhere that covers:- Splitting the deposits among the various accounts- Also - does Square simply match the text string in the Account Titles to determine which mapped accounts to allocate the deposit amounts? Is their any way to enter Account Numbers into the Square Settings Account Mapping? Haven't been able to make a check deposit with mobile deposit.
I've also tried using an incognito browser and, on Quickbooks's suggestion, cleared my cache. All this did was ***** up autofill in my browser.
I have gotten all but 1 of these a few times from the reports but never everything I need.
After 14 years with QuickBooks I tried to log into my account tonight just to find:"We can't find anyone with "____@____.com"and then"We didn't find any companies for this account" QuickBooks just completely deleted my account! It shows that I logged into it 2 weeks ago, and they just billed me March 1, 2024, 2 weeks ago. I am so pissed! I tried to call them but of course they're closed.Has anyone had this happen and did they recover your account after this?? I am so angry!H.R.
i may have accidentally inputted duplicate member (new hire), and how i cant get it to delete/archive/merge the duplicate employee. how can get do this
I need to sign in to Intuit on mu Quickbooks desktop, but instead of the sign in option I see the buffering circle. I have tried signing into Manage your account, that works, but still can't sign into Intuit for the program. My internet is working, I've rebooted the PC, but the buffering persists when I open QB desktop. PLEASE HELP!
Hello, i've seen others with this issue by doing searches, but havent seen anyone with a solved case. As the title says, when i try to restore my QB POS 18 with my saved back up file, it tells me "There is a software update waiting for you" and then doesnt let me proceed, or update the software. It just gets stuck on that and clicking update takes you to a webpage to download POS19 and clicking exit to close the window just leaves me at a greyed out dashboard of my QB POS18. I know it is no longer supported by Intuit. Am i just out of luck on 6 years of sales and customer history? Or is there a workaround for this?? Thanks in advance for any help.

Service Item field is now auto-populating from previous line and overwriting entries. This behavior changed recently and is causing incorrect job costing. This seems to have significantly increased in occurrence in the last month or so, is there any way to prevent this behavior in the Weekly Timesheet.
Hello, My name is Logan and I use Quickbooks Desktop. I was wondering how to set up an employee Roth contribution for SIMPLE IRAs. I know that the SECURE 2.0 Act started allowing employee roth contributions to SIMPLE IRA's in 2023. However, when I go into to set up a new payroll items for Roth contributions for our SIMPLE IRA, I don't see an option. All my contributions are currently set up pre-tax (as that is the only option available). - Is there a way to set up Roth contributions for SIMPLE IRA's?- If not, is there an update coming soon that will allow this? Hello Folks ! QBDT PR user here - My Maryland UI will create an e-file for the form, but I can not get it set to send the remittance to the state as an EFT/ ACH transaction. It used to work in the past, but several cycles ago, I set it to manual (hence - print a check) that I have to go manually to the Beacon site to send the remittance. Can some kind soul tell me if I can still submit for an ACH with the file submission and how to set it so it works correctly? Thank you all! Jeff
My software said I needed to update. I clicked it and it said there was an error, 1612. It said to write it down and type it in on the website for steps to correct. I did not see anywhere to type it in
