Hello, I hope the community can help me figure this problem out. I tried Quickbooks support, but after finally navigated past the god awful AI Bot to a support agent, after 20 minutes of the agent taking 3-4 minutes between replies, and enduring drivel questions of ‘how’s the day going’ and then having the audacity to ask if I am still there when I ignore the drivel questions I gave up! Sorry, I am ranting I know, I am a nice guy really, just Intuit really do frustrate. :) Anyway, the real issue if anyone can advice, for around 4-6 weeks now (since the new awful layout was forced upon me again). when entering Sales Receipts, more often than not, after i press the submit button it will freeze and then it comes up with the error 'We were busy working out the VAT but didn’t quite finish calculating it. Save your invoice again.' - Clicking submit again always immediately goes through. From the dozen or so I entered this morning the error came up 3/4 times. We are not VAT registered,

Dear Forum Members,We received a letter from Companies House UK advising that "From 1 April 2027, all companies will need to file their annual accounts using commercial software", i.e. software filing. It surprised us to see that QuickBooks Online is not (yet?) listed as suitable accountancy package for software filing:https://www.gov.uk/software-company-accountsI believe that all users of QBO deserve a statement from QBO with regards to:- whether QBO will become accredited by Companies House for software filing- what the time time / dates are for this accreditation, i.e. will it be in time for the deadline set by Companies HouseHas anybody heard anything on this from QuickBooks? Many thanks for your help.

This happens in various clients on a regular monthly basis. We shouldn't have to be going back in to each one a few days later and resubmitting. Our user credentials are fine as they go through on the second attempt.
I am using this for the same customer each time. Any suggestions greatly apprected

Hello, I am using QuickBooks Online for my self-employed business. I can see the “Income Tax” section and tax estimates, but I do not see any option to connect to HMRC or submit quarterly updates under Making Tax Digital for Income Tax. I would like to confirm: Am I eligible for MTD for Income Tax at this stage? Do I need to register separately with HMRC before this option becomes available in QuickBooks? Once registered, will the “Connect to HMRC” and submission options appear automatically in my account? For context: I am self-employed (construction / bricklayer) My turnover is above £50,000 My QuickBooks account is active and working correctly Could you please advise what steps I need to take to enable MTD submissions? Thank you in advance for your help. Kind regards,
I don’t know how to set my app to send quarterly updates to HMRC

I'm using the OAuth2 flow to login into a third party app. However after logging in (and still on the QBO authentication screen) I cannot continue if I don't setup "Payments". This screen is still on QBO for the avoidance of doubt, not from the third party application
