I bill an AirBnB client for cleaning multiple times a week. They usually pay the day of. I have three invoices showing unpaid in Quickbooks that have been paid and the funds have deposited in the bank account. Normally Quickbooks automatically marks an invoice paid when the payment happens.
What’s the delay
Quickbooks takes forever to start. I have narrowed the issue down to the desktop app connecting to the intuit online account basically to verify that I am a subscriber. Intuit upgrade your servers, this process takes several minutes and is quite annoying. I am running the latest version of QuickBooks desktop on a very fast windows 11 computer with 24 processors, 64G of ram and a 1Gbps internet connection this should NOT take 5 minutes to start the program. I have moved my entire company file to a NVME internal dive and its still maddening to use this program as it has become incredibly slow. I have followed every suggestion in trying to speed up this program and my company file is fairly small 107MB. I have run the utilities to compress and even truncate older data. I am in single user mode now and no longer run on multiple computers.
Quickbooks charged me $1400 for my enhanced payroll for accountants subscription. That is doubled what I paid last year. When I called I finally got some info from the 5th person I was transferred to. She said that it was discontinued but I guess I was grandfathered in. She told me that I should buy "payroll for accountants" which would be about $700 and then cancel the enhanced. She transferred me over to sales and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Right now I only have 4 clients I am doing payroll for and one of them will be done in January. Does anyone know if I have any options besides having to buy a separate subscription for each client? BTW it is QB Desktop. Thanks,

Hi, An employee who has been able to access payroll information via Workforce for a year has not been able to access their payroll information in Workforce for the past week. Their profile in Workforce says they are not active, but the employer sees the employee's status as active in Workforce and in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. Neither the employee nor the employer has made any changes.

It is about 3 days that Quickbooks App does not opent.It llaunches the first Intuit page and than a white page pops up with the icon turning in the center forever.it works for the first time only if I delete and install it again, but, after a while if I have to open it again the same happens!
I’m new to quickbooks and have a cash sale question. I’m using POS with QuickBooks Desktop. My POS receipts include full cash sales, but QuickBooks is only receiving a small net amount into the “Cash Received” account (ex: $10), while my actual cash being deposited into the bank is higher (ex: $100).The amount I’m depositing, does not show anywhere in quickbooks. Would the correct way to handle this be-Go to “Make Deposit” Line 1: From “Cash Received” = $10 Line 2: From “Cash Sales” = $90or Go to “Make Deposit” Line 1:From “Cash Sales” = $100 but then my cash received account will continue to grow. or is another way of handling this? Hello, we are using Quick Books Accountant Online- We have employees that have company credit cards and we want them to be able to use the "Snap Receipt" feature, however, we do not want them to have access to the Company's books.How do we set them up as a user to be able to leverage this functionality with out having access to Company information?
How should I record an entry in QuickBooks Online for an investment withdrawal to pay for a budgeted expense? I have money coming in through direct deposit into our banking account from an investment withdrawal. This money is to pay for a specific bill that I expensed to a budgeted line item. I need help recording this. Should I create new accounts for all this?
For two months, I have been trying to get Intuit to let me change the direct deposit checking account. I have filled out forms, uploaded, called MANY times, talked to John, Elaine, Josh, and Sam, and still they won't let me update the account. I have to change the owner e-mail and telephone number, and they keep sending me down the rabbits hole. I have come up against a brick wall and am being forced into another situation. They won't help me, there is NO customer service, and anyone you speak to is RUDE! We pay tons of money to these people and they don't have the courtesy to help. Any ideas????????????
When I do direct deposit, it bills the proper bank and account, but puts it in QuickBooks Desktop Pro as my old bank, the one before I changed banks.
Good morning, I have QB for Mac Plus 2024 V23.1.11 R12 on my iMac (Sequoia 15.7.4). I found where I can fix the check alignment, but for some reason the alignment grid is printing on my checks on top of the date and amount. I'm not sure how to get rid of it. I am assuming Intuit have done the usual thing of ignoring what customers want and forcing this invasive Intuit Intelligence AI rubbish on us, with no way to remove it from my interface in Quickbooks online? My own suggestion to the AI to **** off was not welcomed by the bot it seems.

How can i import an excel file of checks and import the detail including the account customer description
Is it possible to create a report of customers (and their contact info) and limit it to customers that were created after a specific date, or between a specific date range?
I received an email from Quickbooks about how they are now directly paying and file payroll taxes. It tells me I must acknowledge the change in Quickbooks, but gives me no clue where to do this. I have already wasted an hour going around and around in circles while their Artifical Stupidity agent gives me wrong or useless answers. Can anyone help? I've attached a screenshot of the message, but there is no option for "Acknowledge change" when I go to Payroll Overview
