I am trying to enter a vendor credit in QB Enterprise Desktop and my accountant said to put it to the same account to which the bill was assigned but QB won't allow that. So what account do I assign credits for inventory items?
As of Sunday I had over 200+ receipts under the "for review" tab. When I went back to begin looking at them again they were gone in addition to the receipts that were under the "reviewed" tab. Has anyone had this glitch before? If so, how do you resolve it?
I'm almost certain I've seen someone creating bank rules in QuickBooks Online that by default do not feature having the memo from the current transaction.For the life of me, I cannot figure one reason I would want all future bank memos to be what is currently on the one I'm creating a rule for, but here we are. Yes, if I delete the text it goes away and keeps the original memo, but is there a way to make it no longer an option? I make sometimes hundreds of rules every day and not having to delete the text every time would be a huge time saver.😅 Thank you!

We used Laplink to move our files from a Win10 machine to a Win11 machine. It seems that everything except the PDF printer is working. The file QBPRINT.QBP is missing and multiple repairs and Tool Hub Print & PDF Repais later, the problem still exists.I am tempted to completely remove the software from the Win11 machine and reinstall. Any constructive advice?
When I look at my expenses or pull up my profit and loss statement it shows my payroll twice. It counts the company gross pay, in addition to the net and the taxes-how do I fix how this is labeled/recorded in quickbooks?

My Icon Bar automatically keeps changing to left icon bar.I prefer to have the top icon bar.Ever since I updated my Quickbooks Premier Plus to 2024, the icon bar keeps reverting to left icon bar.I keep changing it to top icon bar.I'm the only one that is regularly using Quickbooks on this computer, so I know it is not someone else reverting it to left icon bar.It happens when Quickbooks is either minimized or while the computer is in sleep mode.Is anyone else having this issue?

HelloWe are looking to switch from Enterprise desktop to QBO. We do in house payroll and if I am seeing things correctly there is a fee attached for each employee monthly, is this correct? And if so this is not to pay Intuit to process our payroll or anything like that, just simply a cost to access the service? I cant think at the moment what we pay for our Desktop version but the costs are massively different.
I want to retrieve pending invoices by status from the QBO, but status field on invoices is not filterable via Intuit API. How can I achieve this?
Hello - We are using a third party administrator, Mutual of Omaha, for our Minnesota Paid Leave plan. I'm looking for assistance with how to set this up in QB Desktop payroll. Once QB updates the Tax Table for Minnesota do I need to remove it from employees? And then add in two deduction codes for Mutual of Omaha - one with the employer contribution and one with the employee? Is that deduction code taxable or non-taxable?Is there anyone else using a third party that has figured out the setup for January?
Why is it possible to manage change orders in the desktop software but not QBO? Seems crazy you have to create workarounds to achieve something that already exists! 🤔 🤔

I have a users that's still using QB 2012 and wants to upgrade to the newest release which I know sometimes if it's too old we would need to do an interim upgrade. Can we go directly form 2012 to 20201? If not, what would the upgrade path be?
We have recently switched form QB Enterprise to QBO Advanced. In Enterprise there is a report called Inventory Stock Status that had a column for Qty on Hand and a column for On Sales Order resulting in a third column Quantity Available. Does such a report exist in QBO? I have not been able to find a report that takes into account units that are on a Sales Order. Do I need to customize an existing report ?
