Received this notice last week, but the Bank of America - New bank feed doesn't work - unable to recognize log-in information. Any ideas for troubleshooting? Bank of America was no help. "QuickBooks and Bank of America are changing the way you connect your bank accounts with QuickBooks Desktop. We're bringing this change to enable a faster, more reliable connection with your QuickBooks experience. To maintain connections with your bank and download transactions without interruptions, you'll need to reconnect bank feeds. This involves setting up and reconnecting one or more of your bank accounts with QuickBooks Desktop by October 11, 2022. If no action is taken by this date, new transactions will no longer be pulled into QuickBooks. Reconnecting your bank accounts will not result in data loss from your previous transactions.Note: As part of the change, you'll need to choose and connect with "Bank of America - New" instead of "Bank of America" to access bank feeds in Quic
When I see the payroll dates, I cannot go back to the one I missed and want to enter paper check info.
My client is new to QBO. She filed and paid her own payroll taxes the first quarter she was in business, then got everything entered into QBO, she thought, so that QBO would automatically file and pay her payroll taxes and forms. The following quarter, QBO gave her a warning that they had attempted to file and pay her state unemployment but could not. The warning said she was supposed to file and pay manually (the wrong tax id was entered in QBO). She filed and paid manually, then entered the corrected tax ID in QBO. HOWEVER, QBO went ahead and paid the unemployment tax again. Now there is an overpayment, and we just need QBO to acknowledge that credit and not pay the next quarter of state unemployment tax. She called QBO and was told that she needs to request a refund from the state. That seems ridiculous, as it would be much faster to just apply the overpayment to the next quarter and not pay the amount accrued. There should be a way to enter

I've used QuickBook Enhanced Desktop payroll for three years. Just today I'm getting an error saying "Enter an email address in the to field". I've verified all employees have emails entered and that there are no errors. Anyone else experiencing this issue? I've ran all of the updates.
I just want my money, I am a very small business and $14,000 does not come easy.
just about 6 weeks ago, we noticed that all payroll taxes for client on accelerated method were Drawn from their bank account twice. we contacted Comptroller of Maryland, they originally indicated that we have sent two report for same period and that is why the double draw has incurred, I contacted intuit and they confirm that they only have one request sent to Maryland per client. I know about 99% that the issue is the new Maryland tax connect portal since they drew double sales tax last year and based on that fact, there was no third party such as Intuit was involved. this was my argument with them. I am only curious is anyone experienced the same thing in Maryland?
The reason for denial was they claimed I had less than 5 weeks of direct deposit history. This is a lie, I've been doing it this way since Nov '24. Why can't Intuit even make assessments correctly?
I am wanting to correctly set up a mortgage in my chart of accounts for our rental property company. I have made a long term liability account for the mortgage principal and an expense account for the mortgage interest. I was also advised to set up the mortgage as a fixed asset. I also set up an escrow account as a 'other current asset'. So, I made a general journal entry that is debiting $91,500 (the original loan amount) from the fixed asset (titled Bank of America Mortgage) and credited the principal the $91,500 amount. I entered the whole first year of payments that were made and divided up the payment accordingly (principal, interest, and escrow). Looking at my chart of accounts now, the fixed asset account is the same amount as I originally entered ($91,500). The long term liability account has decreased as I expected it to (with the total principal subtracted from the original $91,500). My question is, what is the point of the asset account? Also, when I create a balance sheet r
I've Googled how to fix this issue and troubleshooted everything I could think of and still the checks are printing off with the old number. Frustrating and would appreciate any help, don't want clients trying to call the old number.
If enter the user i.d. i've been using to enter weekly time to run a report i can see the time for that use i.d. If I try to enter a new weekly time entry for that user, that user i.d. is not available on the employee list.
Upgraded to get Insights on P&L and silly questions. Every time I pull my P&L that I have bookmarked, I am unable to use Insights because it informs me that it cannot run on a custom report, which is frustrating. However, Silly question: how can I run a P&L with no customizations?
No matter how many times I try to upload a receipt in the app it does nothing
I snapped receipts in the app and even hours later, they do not appear in the online QBO or app. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I logged out of QBO and shit down PC. Retried and still the same outcome. Please help.
We are running a Windows terminal server with QB 2024 Accountant Enterprise and 2024 Accountant Desktop Plus/Premier and they have been running fine. This week a QB update crashed and we had to uninstall QB 2024. After we installed them we have to use Run as Administrator to get them to work and we also get an error message when we try to open the .qbw file via File Explorer and Qbox.Error message is - Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.Weird thing is it all works under the main admin account that we installed QB with. We have verified the other users have full rights to the folders where .qbw files are and even the QB executables. Even made users full admins and still didn't work.Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Our work truck got stolen a month ago and the auto carrier has deemed it a total loss. Now I need to know how to record this in QB online so it shows the truck has been paid off. The balance of the auto still owed to the bank is 47K which the insurance will send that amount directly to the bank. The total claim amount is 66K, so the remaining amount the insurance co. will send us a check directly for 19K . I am having trouble understanding how to record this in QBO.
Ideally, we would like to add "Program Revenue" as additional sales transaction type. We don't need invoice preparation for these transactions.
