The SMTP settings allow my Quickbooks invoices to come out from my email and domain as [PII removed]. Problem is this is no longer my domain or email and it is confusing for new clients.

Just going through my newly linked account but not sure how I should record the following: An Invoice was created in previous software and payment shows in my now linked bank account. How do I go about recording/posting these payments. Transaction Type: is it Deposit or Sales receipt.Account: Would it be Sales or Services (Invoice is for Labour)From/To: CustomerProduct/Service: Do I use this section? I have Sales and have added a General labour. Your insight in the correct way to record this would be appreciated.
Bank transactions not updating
I don't want to give permission to QB AI to scan all my banking - as my personal and business banking are closely connected, and don't want my transaction details to be scanned and stored by an unverified 3rd party, subject to data-breach etc.
I need to see the opening balance for each category.
In QB's Income Tax - Self Assessment Summary the year start date is set at 6th April, have changed year start date to 1st April but still reports from 6th April. Is there somewhere else this can be sorted?

Hello, I am running a business promotion that offers cashback for purchasing a specific service. This is defined and allowable in UK VAT legislation - VAT Notice 700/7, section 10.1 https://www.gov.uk/guidance/business-promotions-and-vat-notice-7007. How do I account for the cashback to the customer after they have paid their invoice? Customer payment methods could be card/cash/cheque/bank transfer etc. and cashback payments will occur separate to the supply of services, so a simple discount will not work for 'applying' the cashback. Hope you can help.

My emails are working fine though so no issues with the internet. One customer has paid although it still shows as not viewed?

I have a client who has made two part payments against a single invoice, due to an error in the first payment being made which created a shortfall. The balance payment has now been made, settling the invoice in full. However, whenever I go to "Match" the payment in "Bank Transactions" to the invoice, I receive an error stating that the transaction amount is higher than the payment being matched. How do I select both payments to match against the invoice?

When printing delivery note, I get 'ways to pay' being printed on the form bottom left, I cant seem to find anywhere to remove it. Any clues?
I run a small business in the UK. I received a notification that the online accounts and company tax return service is closing on 31 March 2026, and I must find an alternative method for filing once it has. Companies House is transitioning towards filing accounts by software only, as detailed here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/the-online-accounts-and-company-tax-return-service-is-closing I see that QuickBooks and Intuit are not included on the list of providers for unaudited micro-entity accounts, although I note competitors like Xero, FreeAgent and Sage are. https://www.gov.uk/software-company-accounts/y/unaudited/micro-entity Will you support filing unaudited micro-entity accounts with Companies House in the UK after the online accounts and tax return service closes on 31 March 2026?
